I disagree, who are you going to drop if we sign Pogba, We have Matic, Fabregas, Oscar. Ramires, Van Ginkel, Mikel, Romeu, Chalaboah. I know a few will probably leave but we'll have more than enough in my opinion. Also you have to think of formation changes for other players aswell so I really don't think there's room for Pogba.

 

Would you be worrying about who of Hazard, Oscar, Willian, Schurrle, Salah, Moses, THazard, Piazon we would drop if we were being linked with Ronaldo??

I'd drop Oscar is a second if we got Pogba.

Move Cesc further up and it's instantly a far far better side than we have had.

Oscar has been really poor for months now and I don't see that changing since he will have been playing all summer the. Straight to pre season again.

First of all I would sell Mikel and Romeu, wich shouldn't be to hard. Both of them are to slow to dominate a midfield in my opinion. Chalobah needs to impress on loan before he is given a chance, like Lukaku/Courtois did. Fabregas, Oscar can also  play in attacking midfield positions. The only player I'm unsure about is Van Ginkel.

Oscar appears too fragile for the BPL imho, although lets see how he gets on this coming season, sadly I think he could be gone January though.

 

Oscar gets his tackles in with the best of them. He's already played 2 seasons in the prem. Oscar being 'too fragile' for the prem has been disproved a long time ago.

Matic, Pogba, Fabregas would be the best central midfield in the world. I'd have him here in a heartbeat.

 

This midfield could work even in big games. Otherwise we can't use Matic-Oscar-Fabregas in big games and we also have lost David f**king Luiz, no matter how rash he was but he was obviously one of our best players in big matches when he played in CDM in CL games or even against big teams in BPL. His addition will improve our team significantly and we'll be one of the main contenders of Champions league let alone BPL. I know he'll cost 60millions but he is already world class and is just 22 and have huge potential he could boss our midfield for decade with Matic. And we can certainly afford him especially after the Luiz sale.

I think i read too that he has made more tackles in the world cup than any other player. His tackling is better than his creativity.

We didn't buy Oscar for his tackling alone.

If there is any truth in these rumours surely we would not need to keep Rami if we signed Pogba. Ramires plus 25mill-30mill, then the dream midfield of Matic, Pogba and Cesc with Hazard and Schurrle/Salah/Oscar/Willian can come true.

To be honest I think a lot of it has come from the picture of Pogba playing football manager as Chelsea and signing himself for us. Although as a fan of his I'm hoping there's more to it than that!

Jose said we will be rebuilding our Chelsea side this year for next decade so Pogba signing makes very much sense.

We can easily swallow the cost of signing Pogba, Luis, Costa and even Mandzukic if we so want to sign them all.

Let us add him, for the sake of playing devil's advocate, to other likely players to leave the Bridge and realistic values for them:

Romeu - 4mill

Marko Marin - 5mill

Victor Moses - 7.5mill

Ryan Betrand - 5.25mill (linked with Hull for this price)

Without selling Ramires, who Jose said would not be sold apparently, that is 72.75mill brought in for players not in our plans and Lukaku who may/may not want to leave. Add to this we may chose to sell Petr Cech or Courtios which could add a further 12mill-20mill to that total.

 

Our net loss for transfer fees would be around 39.25mill without a GK sale to 27.25mill down to a potential 19.25mill. All amounts Chelsea could swallow under FFP with the new huge revenue from the PL TV money as well as CL revenue.

 

So long and the short of it is, we can comfortably, imo, afford to sign Pogba along with our other linked targets if Jose really wants him.

As previously mentioned if we could sell some players 60 wouldn't be that bad for the quality in short term and over the long hall of the project. Pogba has both offensive and defensive abilities that would offer so many looks to cfc. Would be an amazing summer if this business gets done
