New Vice Captain?

Featured Replies

Who will it be?

There are a couple of options here but I'm not sure really. The obvious choice would be Cech but if we bring Courtois back he might lose his place and even be sold. Next choice is Ivanovic, he also might lose his place if we bring in Filipe Luis who will take Azpi's place at LB who will consequently might put Ivanovic on the bench by claiming the RB spot. Next option is Cahill, he is probably a guaranteed starter but does he have the authority?

Don't make me laugh.

Cahill is a shoe-in. He'll be captain once Terry leaves anyway.

Some players, as great and as good as they are, are not natural captains or vice captains and sorry GC doesn't strike me as a natural in such a role.

Seems likely that Cech may well be moved on so unless he likewise is moved on then its Ivanovic who is experienced in the role

Cahill hasn't exhibited leadership qualities to qualify as captain; I feel he still relies on Terry a lot to help him out and if he does, then I don't think he's ready to lead the entire team. We'll see after next season though.

If Cech is still here, then him.

Shouldn't be Branna, he shouldn't be a week-in-week-out starter when we obtain a LB.

Good CB + RB Cover though.

Azpi should definitely be on the right full time.
