I think United are in a right mess. They just keep throwing money at their problems and expect them to go away. Van Gaal is already under pressure, his formation is sh*t, it's not working at all. There is no way they are getting into the top 4 this season. I know it's early into the season but Rooney looks absolute crap, i think he's on the decline.

But i think it is more evident than ever, he's not even having an effect on the game anymore. He's just there, he may get the odd goal but that is the only effect he has now. His touch is going, he doesn't seem to be able to get past people anymore, his passing has turned to crap, his shooting is poor.

Just another reminder why I'm so pleased we didn't sign him...plus Utd are forking out £300,000-a-week for the privilege of watching him do bugger all...
