Think Arsenal will win this one actually... Mainly because I've not been too impressed with what I've seen of City 4 games in (Shield) but we'll see. Plus I think this is Arsenal at pretty much full strength at home.

It's a big shame if City don't have Toure right now because Arsenal have little strength in the midfield, something Toure would really have an effect on. I can see Arsenal winning this one but I'm not going to write City off just yet, they still have more fire power than Arsenal do, much more deadly on the counter.

Slawth it's not a case of me not being confident in my team this year, It's more me picking up the look in Mourinho's eyes this year, I know he has the bit between his teeth this year and that cant help but make me worry. It was the game against Burnley which made me realize if we aren't at the races for one second this could get ugly, Last year I did respect Chelsea as title rivals but you couldn't help notice how short you were up front which always put us ahead.

Seen Lampard in his Man City training kit but it'll be so weird seeing him playing for them in sky blue. It was weird enough seeing Mata in red and he was only with us for 2 and a half seasons.

Oh I wasn't knocking you it was just surprising because many City fans are very optimistic this year. I am actually confident Chelsea will win the league this year, I think it's something the players know we have to do because we haven't won it in 4 years, 5 years if we don't grab it this year, league has to be a priority. I am not concerned about our character, we usually do keep our heads down and work hard but I do have concerns over some quality if I was to be picky. Oscar has a lot to prove which I'm confident he will and Fabregas has a poor fitness record, I still think your team has more fire power than us but I think our players are stronger mentally.

I hope he is being completely rested for the Bayern and Chelsea games but he probably has a niggle Bobby

Ahh right, can't imagine its anything other then injury tbh. Can't see you resting him in a game line this although I do think you are going to be more interested in Europe this season.

I was hoping not to see Lampard starting in big games for City. This will be hard to take, especially if he plays again against us next week.

It's just a farewell cruise for a few months until he goes to New York. Doesn't bother me.

Playing in Cameroon on the Wednesday night then having to play on Saturday morning would be difficult. Especially at the start of the season when not 100% match fit.

A precautionary measure with the two other big games coming up

Welbeck will do better at Arsenal. I can see hmi getting 10-15 goals a season, but not much more than that.

Hoping for a draw and a Lampard goal today.

Looks like typical arsenal so far. Pretty little patterns with majority of possession but no penetration. Can see them conceding on the counter
