November 21, 201411 yr So who is all out then? Arsenal - Walcott, Ozil, Giroud United - Falcao, Di Maria, Blind, De Gea, Carrick I take it I will have missed some! Carrick's out? Rojo is out for United, Giroud is fit for Arsenal. Edited November 21, 201411 yr by Bobbywoodhogan
November 21, 201411 yr How annoying are these big matches being played on a Saturday lunchtime. Its right in the middle of the day. It makes it more difficult to watch the game, particularly if you have children. They should move it to Friday nights, much better time to sit and watch football.
November 21, 201411 yr Vincent Tan hitting out at Whelan and Mckay. That guy really does not like Mckay and has it in for him.
November 21, 201411 yr Sky sports..... 13:34 REALITY CECH FROM JOSEJose Mourinho hits back at claims that Petr Cech is set to leave Chelsea in January. On which Mickey Mouse website? On which Mickey Mouse blog? Some websites don't even know where they get their stories. I have zero proposals for Petr Cech. Petr has a contract for two more years, he's a fantastic professional. Not once has he knocked on my door to inform me about his desire to accept some proposal. Edited November 21, 201411 yr by guddy69
November 21, 201411 yr United fluked a draw against Chelsea, They lost to us via gaining a moral victory but in fairness were second best and naive, Van Gaal has had enough time to settle in, He needs a big game win, If it doesn't come this weekend how has he been any different from Moyes? Could Moyes have done any worse than what Van Gaal has done with the better quality of players available to him? I think so, If United get beat or beat badly this weekend, You really have to question what he has brought to the table other than his c.v.? But you watch how the United p.r. team try and spin a possible defeat on bad luck of injuries, Injuries are not bad luck in my opinion. Who first coined that ridiculous phrase ''moral victory'' was it Rodgers?. So if for example Van Gaal gets sacked will pundits say well he's had x amounts of wins, draws and losses but he did have an outstanding record with moral victories. It's a meaningless expression that goes right to the top of stupid football vernacular replacing worldy and top top player.
November 21, 201411 yr Author I think we could all see it coming to be honest. Wonder where Ched will go next?

Mind you, As bad as this is, If United win, The uproar from the anti Wenger Arsenal fans will be too hilarious to not revel in Lol So what you're saying is... It's a win-win match for all non united / arsenal fans. Even if they draw, that's the two of them even farther from a top 4 spot. I'm looking forward to the weekend... ...As long as we beat west brom. Is there a team that I would less like to face in November? I don't know if there is
November 21, 201411 yr I think we could all see it coming to be honest. Wonder where Ched will go next? Clubs won't take him with the public outcry he and Shef recieved. I'd wager he might train on his own or maybe at best conference side to keep his fitness up. Can you imagine the bad publicity a club would recieve if they actually signed him?

Quite strange that Marlon King has had no problems staying employed despite his record of violence towards woman and yet Evans are apparently crossed the imaginary line.
November 21, 201411 yr Quite strange that Marlon King has had no problems staying employed despite his record of violence towards woman and yet Evans are apparently crossed the imaginary line. Agreed. It's a witch hunt and such is society these days he will not be able to continue on in his job. I wonder how many guys have had one night stands after a night out with drunk females....I'd wager quite many. I remember Tyson fought many fights after his conviction but don't recall any public outcry or lack of interest in his fights.
November 21, 201411 yr Quite strange that Marlon King has had no problems staying employed despite his record of violence towards woman and yet Evans are apparently crossed the imaginary line. Particularly considering it's a line that no doubt thousands of the people who have campaigned to have him banned have probably crossed themselves.
November 21, 201411 yr PaddyPower have paid out on Chelsea winning the title Do you know pls if they've paid out on all bets backing CFC? You have to back CFC now but a lot happen* * though a late surge by us seems unlikely...

I wonder how many guys have had one night stands after a night out with drunk females....I'd wager quite many. I remember Tyson fought many fights after his conviction but don't recall any public outcry or lack of interest in his fights. You can't compare Evans with Tyson that's ridiculous. Tyson was managed by Don King who ran boxing who was going to stop Tyson from fighting?. Tyson was the most brutal fighter in living memory and even though he was stitched up comparing a street fighting heavyweight champion of the 80's to a pro footballer in 2014 is a poor comparison. What Evans should have done is kept shtum he's got an appeal going on and should wait for the outcome if he's found innocent then fair enough. Also when Tyson was fighting you didn't have social media or websites where people lose there minds at absolutely anything.
November 22, 201411 yr Agreed that Evans should have kept quiet, he's made a rod for his own back now by issuing an official "I'm innocent" statement. If he'd just got his head down and got on with it things might not have been as bad but half the issue is that people are saying he is too unrepentant about the whole thing. I can't see a way back in to football for him any time soon, there is too much media attention on him right now. He should just wait until his appeal is dealt with and then decide what to do.
November 22, 201411 yr Read something this morning, not sure how true it is, that the season is 14 weeks old and 8 of those have involved International football. Depressing if true.
November 22, 201411 yr I think ^ it's because of all the 'new' countries taking part in qualifying: I haven't worked out the full list but there's lots. It is a pain as the league just gets a head of steam up and there's a break.
November 22, 201411 yr The international breaks have seemed a lot more intrusive on the PL than usual this season. I'm not sure if that's because they really are more intrusive or because with the rise of online streaming it's easy for people to watch every single match. In the past I would only watch the (officially) televised games and the odd live match, so any break in the schedule would have been less noticeable. It does make sense to have international breaks early on in the season because the fixture lists for top domestic clubs get much more crowded later on, but it's a shame because they have really killed the PL's early momentum.
November 22, 201411 yr Back to the bread and butter today lads, No more having to watch Adrian Chiles, Woy and Jack Wilshere, Isn't life great again?
