November 18, 201411 yr We're a sinking ship and have had to announce a 10 per cent loss in income for the first quarter of the financial year but but google searches for Di Maria and Falcao have gone up and Daley Blind's twitter followers have increased - Edwood Woodwood
November 18, 201411 yr I'd love it if Aguero scored a hat trick and all of them were assisted via low crosses by Zabaleta, That would be an awkward post match review to do on rag t.v., Especially if they had Paddy Crerand on Lol
November 18, 201411 yr Shows how up to date I am on international break week, Both Aguero and Zabaleta are on the bench, I was watching an episode of Friends before I remembered the England v Scotland game is on, I almost go into football hibernation during the international break, It's almost like a way of just completely getting away and doing other things with your life.

As you're a City fan, I've always been interested! What do you make of Navas and Nasri? Strange question I know.
November 18, 201411 yr JMaher, Navas is nowhere near the player he once was, Pace is down, Cannot beat his man to save his life and constantly delays our attacks, Positives for Jesus is he tracks back and does his best, Whips a mean ball into the box but is a player you can have if Nasri, Silva and Aguero are having a very good game, Not if those three are not on it. Nasri is class in my opinion but picks up a fair few injuries, He can be as creative as Silva at times and has a mentality you want in your players, His rat like, have a face you want to punch image is what we need sometimes. Is a must start along with Silva behind Aguero and he also comes up with goals, If we brought in a Reus/Isco or Koke type he wouldn't have to make way in my opinion.
November 18, 201411 yr Whenever he gets the ball is say "Jesus!!" The wife is getting wise to it now, and doesn't lift her head as much and say "what's happened" :)
November 18, 201411 yr Gem if you like Navas you must have loved Javi Garcia, For an average footballer he did get a lot of female attention before the games Lol
November 18, 201411 yr Kinkladze I agree regarding Nasri. He seems like the sort of guy who will get in the opponents head a bit and has a bit of a fighters mentality. I think he's really underrated because of the way he moved to you and the fact that like you said he has a face you want to punch. I think he's an incredible footballer and I would rather have him in the number 10 spot over Oscar. In fact him, Zabaleta and Kompany are the only City players I would take to replace starters in our team (Oscar, Ivanovic, Cahill). Other players are better than some of our starters; Toure> Matic/Fabregas, Silva>Willian, Aguero > Costa but I wouldn't want them as the players we have suit the way we play more. Ok maybe Aguero because he's just class. The best player in the league since he joined and weirdly underrated.

I never thought Navas was a great player to begin with. If he was i am sure one of either Real Madrid or Barcelona would have gone in for him.
November 18, 201411 yr Now hearing that Sturridge is out for 4 more weeks! Injured in training again!!!
November 18, 201411 yr Now hearing that Sturridge is out for 4 more weeks! Injured in training again!!! Once again, let us all go down on our knees and give thanks to our medical team! What on earth do other teams do to their players.
November 18, 201411 yr Scott, Barca and Real were interested in him during the days when he Luis Fabiano and Kanoute up front with him but he was a very flaky character back then and couldn't leave his home town club and therefore nothing came about. I agree he was never really 'great', He was more of an efficient/good player, I'd say he has had three or four good years and in the rest of his career he's been meh.

He has had one decent season the whole time he's been in England.
November 18, 201411 yr Beerqueen, Just had a really bad image in my head of the Liverpool doctor telling Sturridge, 'You are 100 % fit again Danny boy, The world is your oyster again, Make Shankly proud' and Sturridge ends up doing that ridiculous dance of his and re-injures himself, What other explanation can there be? Isn't this the 3rd time he has re-injured himself? If he carries on like this him and Abou Diaby will be fighting it for the re-injure yourself d'or.
November 18, 201411 yr Now hearing that Sturridge is out for 4 more weeks! Injured in training again!!!hodgson/englands fault..
November 18, 201411 yr Mac, I have to disagree about Toure being better than Matic, Toure could be better than Matic, if he had the dedication and hunger Matic had, That's the problem though, He doesn't have it. As soon as Matic came back to Chelsea under Mourinho, You finally played like a Mourinho team, Remember before the January transfer window last year the media were questioning has Jose lost it? and what has happened to his stout, resilient counter attacking sides? Matic for me was the reason. Toure is not a number 10 or an attacking midfielder despite how good he can be there sometimes.
November 18, 201411 yr Quote from: Crosby Wych on Today at 09:00:32 PM 52 appearances 13 injuriesHis injury record is better than most of our other striker's goal scoring record... Sob.
