November 30, 201411 yr City fans singing the Super Frankie Lampard song... This is starting to f**king hurt.
November 30, 201411 yr city manger said lamps is staying. where are all those clowns who said he wouldn't? absolute disgrace and virtual cheating of the ffp system even though they've already been fined 40m for breaking ffp already. points deduction please!! i officially hate city now as much as anyone ever. f**k. lets buy another club buy messi and ronaldo then loan them to chelsea......pshh
November 30, 201411 yr I've said before re lampard that city are using him very well, we normally started him deep and asked him to play a holding role which just isn't his game, they use him as an impact sub further forward, he gets in and around the box, finds space and gets goals like the frank we saw for years. As much as it hurts seeing him score for our biggest threat to the title it doesn't change my opinion on him in the slightest.
November 30, 201411 yr Him staying beyond the loan period is a disgrace with the fact he signed for New York but it is what it is. No point losing sleep about it, we just need to concentrate on what we do.
November 30, 201411 yr Lampard could have said no to City! He didn't, which pissed me off! But why should he have?
November 30, 201411 yr People should grow up here really he's gone move on. Best of luck. Just shows how good a player we had when he can still score goals at a top level at he's age. Every time he scores will we have the same debate. Our future looks bright on and off the pitch.

November 30, 201411 yr Wouldnt have been that upset with Lampard playing for City if he hadnt gone on and on about how he would never play for another English club, only to sign for a title rival at the first chance he got. That pissed me off

Exactly, to many overreactions on here today, you'd have thought we lost the game yesterday the way some people are going on today.
November 30, 201411 yr I had a feeling this game would be a good un. It's actually a really entertaining match; hopefully both teams can keep the tempo this high all match.
November 30, 201411 yr Exactly, to many overreactions on here today, you'd have thought we lost the game yesterday the way some people are going on today. The overreaction is justified if it makes the difference between winning the league or not - but until then there's still 25 games to go. If there's anything to be taken from the game it was the lack of adaptation to Sunderland's parked bus - too often we played in front of them - no attempt was really made to try something different, and the players who could have made a difference were only given what 10 minutes? On the other hand sometimes you just need to accept the result and move on, hats off to Sunderland who I felt deserved the win yet we still came away with a point.

Of course it's an overreaction it's one bloody weekend for christs sakes. See how we perform next two games or so then we'll know if it's made a difference.

He signed for New York, not City. How can it be right for one football club to control what another football club does ? That isn't good for the game at all.
November 30, 201411 yr Why would we do that? Just a saying, a player who is playing so badly will probably score against us. Though, that was a very good finish.
