January 1, 201511 yr What bothers me the most about Lamps saving Citeh ober and over again isn't even the fact that he's scoring. It's the way his "loan" came out to be... Shady as f**k. This. He can play for whoever he wants but the whole manner in which this has played out is wrong.
January 1, 201511 yr It's getting very old these comments. We let him go. We did. Don't you trust our current players at all? Jose? It's almost not worth bothering mate. As you say, we let him go, we have only ourselves to blame. Those people who would rather he failed or should have gone to a non competing team should ask themselves what they would have done - as a proud footballer with such a reputation , and knowing you could still hold your own at this level. I would have done exactly what he is doing and anyone who says otherwise is a fool. So, take your anger out on this club, not the man.
January 1, 201511 yr At least the SFL fan boys will be happy. Should be easy to spot at the Chels v City game in there Lampard shirt singing the super SFL song. They may cheer the City winner as well. As will the growing band of Lampard haters. Now they have something else to moan about. It's funny really because last season about half the forum wanted rid of him anyway.
January 1, 201511 yr The Frank Lampard backlash is really bringing the idiots out of the woodwork. Time to give the forum a rest I think. Agreed. He is a Manchester City player, that's who he signed for. Let's just get over it.

He has moved on and although his goals for City is affecting the current title race we will never forget the silverware that he helped bring to our club.
January 1, 201511 yr We just need to concentrate on our own performances. Edited January 1, 201511 yr by DELBY

January 1, 201511 yr Personally I find it rather funny that Man City are knee deep in FFP trouble and are relying on Lamps (a 36 year old) to bail them out. Long-term that's a mess, whereas we have a core of players who are just reaching or about to reach their prime.
January 1, 201511 yr Here's something to cheer you all up: http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index.php?PHPSESSID=io3pbr8k81jsjkdmlqqitot5c0&topic=319126.0 Cheers for that. I liked the post that says "sh*te refereeing in the second half" - I guess that means he didn't give them any more dodgy penalties
January 1, 201511 yr Tired of talking about Frank to be honest. Legend. End off. We just need to do our job. He might just be a city legend before the season is out
January 1, 201511 yr Should be noted lamps passed Henry today and is now fourth highest pl scorer ever...amazing achievement doesn't even come close to describing it...
January 1, 201511 yr Oh, and they've completely undermined the validity of the NYFC project before it has even started.
January 1, 201511 yr I think the discussion on Lamps should continue, everything has been said on him already but it all needs to be reiterated before people start shirt burning etc
January 1, 201511 yr This. He can play for whoever he wants but the whole manner in which this has played out is wrong. Exactly, why make it seem like he'll only be at Citeh for the MLS off-season when in truth they wanted him to stay all season from the very beginning.
January 1, 201511 yr Despite Lamps getting City all 3 points, I'm in a good mood; Arsenal losing never fails to cheer me up. Clueless manager, joke of a team.

January 1, 201511 yr Next season they are good to go again... It was a one season sanction Doesn't matter. They still need to spend big and FFP will still be a reality. I'm much happier with the way we go about our business.

January 1, 201511 yr Lampard may be a Chelsea legend and in theory that should never change, but scoring against us this season and winning them points with his other goals is still chipping away at his good memories with our club. Wish City would just f**k off, really hate that club more than any other. Signing Frank Lampard for NYC, only to 'steal' him for a whole season indirectly. He probably couldn't turn them down either, but it still pains me to see him play for them.
January 1, 201511 yr last word on Frank. He doesn't look all that happy in this photo. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/live/football/30124386
January 1, 201511 yr ArsenalfanTV is my guilty pleasure. I'm looking forward to Claude's interview already!
January 1, 201511 yr See, it doesn't make any sense for anyone's opinion to change when he scores. That is what I don't get. Your opinions should entirely be what it was when he was loaned. Did many of you not expect him to score? Of course he will. Why talk about this every single time? Not sure I made myself clear but nevertheless... A bit like Sturridge and Lukaku in that every goal brought about a new flood of over made points. He will always be a legend.

It's amusing seeing people lose their sh*t every time he scores, even though that's what he does, and its why city signed him.
