November 4, 201411 yr That commentary & the effects/echo sound like something out of rollerball, can we sign him? In unrelated news, we should be very afraid ahead of this weekend: Football is never that simple though for all we know one of or all three might have something to say on Sat. Liverpool are gonna be massively up for the game on Sat we need to be at our best.
November 4, 201411 yr This from the Costa Rican league on the weekend and I must say this is one of the best volley goals I've ever seen purely because of the way the striker controlled by the ball with his upper body and the timing of his shot was perfect. I don't know what's up with the commentary but nevertheless it's absolutely priceless! Fantastic goal. Good to see Raul Meireles still banging in blinders. [emoji1] [emoji1]
November 4, 201411 yr That's the thing, you have to win the league to be accused of buying it. I don't think anyone will be accusing Utd of buying the league anytime soon. So instead of buying the league, they just bought... 4th place?
November 4, 201411 yr So, who's gonna watch the match tonight :D Ooh, thanks for the reminder. I need to buy nibbles and drinkies for this
November 4, 201411 yr http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/real-madrid/11206709/Real-Madrid-v-Liverpool-Bernabeu-manager-Carlo-Ancelotti-deserves-to-be-heralded-among-the-greats.html I read a great article about Ancelotti this morning. One of my favourite people in football. Brilliant article, sums up Ancelotti perfectly. He hides a brilliant wit and tactical intelligence behind his cuddly charm and usually a tactfully-raised eyebrow.
November 4, 201411 yr Brilliant article, sums up Ancelotti perfectly. He hides a brilliant wit and tactical intelligence behind his cuddly charm and usually a tactfully-raised eyebrow. What?
November 4, 201411 yr Will Rawk lock threads in-match or now, to save time? Never known a website like it for locking threads. Maybe they think it's The Sun journo's posting ? Is this game on comedy central or the history channel ? Superb
November 4, 201411 yr Will Rawk lock threads in-match or now, to save time? I heard that they are updating the forum with matchday autlock bots...
November 4, 201411 yr Don't see a hammering on the cards unfortunately, although it will be comfortable for Madrid. Madrid are a team that like to counter at pace and because tonight they will have literally all of the ball I don't see them causing the destruction that everyone is hoping for. I hope I'm wrong.
November 4, 201411 yr According to this: https://twitter.com/GuillemBalague/status/529633092416577537 Liverpool are gonna rest Gerrard, Balotelli, Johnson and Sterling for this. Pathetic really.

Not really - they know they can't win in Madrid, but they feel that they can catch CFC slipping @ klanfield xD Edited November 4, 201411 yr by robdog
November 4, 201411 yr Not really - they know they can't win in Madrid, but they feel that CFC will slip @ klanfield xD But its the f**king champions league against the biggest team in the world. you would think that Liverpool, a team obsessed with history and doing things "the right way" would step up and present their best team on the biggest stages. This isn't a capital one cup game against some town no one has ever heard of. This is REAL MADRID. Small club mentality.
