Wellity well. Never expected this at all. An arsenal win works doubley well for us, we move away from city, Wenger will use thus as a reason not to buy someone. Lovely.

Now it's up to us to really take control of the title race when we face them in 2 weeks time.

City fans really are sh*t. Half the stadium was empty by the 87th minute. Arsenal did well and that caps a great weekend for us.

well that's one of the two times each year that I want Arsenal to win; the second time is against Liverpool

I don't know if I'm been over confident here but I feel like if Arsenal played like that against us we wouldn't fall into the same mistakes that City did

After that, I'd happily let Arsene come to my house, and try on any coat he wants.

Good couple of weekends for goal difference too...from level to lead of nine...could play a part, psychologically if nothing else...if gap gets too big, City will start to think they're technically another point behind

my brother-in-law is a Liverpool fan and he's saying he hopes City win at Anfield! (says it all doesn't it? - talk about plastic fans)

If anyone can take advantage of City having to attack it's Jose.

I'm already anticipating a counter attacking master class.

I am not. I wasn't convinced about the PK. I saw le arse trying to dribble around Citeh all match. Not sure they can duplicate that vs CFC cause IMHO CFC are more discipline in the art of defending.

Seems like only a fortnight ago there was people on here gnashing their teeth and claiming Man City never look like dropping points, oh that's right it was just a fortnight ago.

If anyone hates other clubs more than they like their own then they ain't true fans. I hate Liverpool, Spurs, Arsenal and QPR the most but i love Chelsea far more than i hate them.

I thought the pen was soft tbh

I don't think I've seen a managerial performance by Wenger that was so well thought out and...well, sensible. Seems like a tacit nod to his adversary Jose, playing in a manner that Jose himself would appraise positively.

 

Excellent result for us though.
