Why is it that every time a manager get's sacked, Hoddle is always one of the favourites to get the job ? He hasn't managed a team since 2006, he's been out of the game for nearly a decade. I think a lot of what he says when he is doing punditry is wrong too. The game has changed since 2006, i think the game has passed him by.

Whatever happened to Alan Curbishley? It wasn't that long ago he had Charlton in the Top Flight & playing for a place in Europe. He has totally fell off the face of English Footie now.

I think he's become a commentator, which is an indicator that he has completely given up on football.

I think Wolverhampton fans might disagree with you.

Okay, he didn't do great there (not terribly), but plenty of good managers have a bad time at a club.

What's amazing about those comments is that Nasri says he's a big fan of Mourinho.

Can you imagine one of our players saying that about Pellegrino? A big fan.... Cheers samir you horse faced lesbian.

Sounds like citeh are getting desperate...have to laugh at his comments about him saying cfc just have a good striker (must hurt to have hazard overshadow you very week)...you could say the same about citeh (plus Toure)

So a team he's not impressed with and that isn't special has twice opened up a 7 point plus gap on his own side and have outscored them in the league and conceded fewer goals.

Doesn't say alot about his own team does it?

From a neutral stance and taking into account that football needs characters (just like any other sport) we'd miss Jose if he wasn't here.

The press were gagging for Mourinho to come back; he generates the interest that sells papers and gets viewers onto papers' internet sites.

thank goodness there isn't a media campaign against us - mind you it was terribly unsporting of Diego Costa to "wildly celebrate" his team winning a match, simply not the standard of behaviour we should accept in Britain, johnny foreigner again eh?

What happened to winning with dignity? It probably went out the window the same tame as journalistic integrity Mr Ashton.

How dare Chelsea celebrate an important last minute winner? Shameful.

Also factually incorrect.

"Seven years on they brought him back and just over a year into his five-year deal, nothing has changed."

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it a four year deal?

More to the point its closer to two years he's been back.

Poor fella, us leading the title race has broken him. What A pathetic bitter little rant.

89th minute winner to maintain your seven point lead at the top, clearly should be greeted with a short round of applause and a commiserating handshake to the opposing manager by way of an apology.

With regards to what that French toothy c**t has had to say about Chelsea relying on Costa,  I'm pretty sure our results with Costa unavailable are:-

Palace 1-2 Chelsea

Chelsea 3-0 Spurs

Chelsea 1-1 City

Villa 1-2 Chelsea

Chelsea 1-0 Everton

Might have missed some but considering they have only managed 1 win while Toure has been at the AFCON, I suggest he looks at the results before running to the papers.

Pretty much. I remember Pellegrini moaning about Mourinho's reaction to the winner at home last season. I love it when managers and players show passion for the club.

nobhead is a palace fan...remarkably he hasn't written a column about a more unsavoury incident that took place the same night...the fact a palace fan could have blinded Collocini after throwing a coin at his face
