As it's a Chelsea-free weekend, I'm off to see my local side Shrewsbury Town today instead where I will find the answer to the burning question - do they sing the same "we're top of the league" song as we do?

Using this rare opportunity to watch some German football, wanted to see how KDB and Schurrle are doing. Turned out to be a really entertaining game, KDB has been fantastic as usual but Schurrle has been kinda disappointing. Had a great chance to go 4-0 up if he had passed and when he did shoot he just missed everything, could have scored 3 goals by himself if did better with his shots.

Tim Sherwood the new Villa manager.

Villa are going down

Is it possible for a club to be relegated 2 leagues for being ultra sh*te?

I hope Bamford scores against Arsenal like he did against City. He'll really start getting himself noticed.

All the more likely a winner will come from Utd, Liverpool or arse....oh dear, but we only have ourselves to blame

I'll have to cheer for Utd I'm afraid from those 3

United winning the cup would probably keep LvG around for another season at the very least even though he's been just as bad as Moyes... I'm all for it!

Well the Shrewsbury game was enjoyable:

  • they don't sing the same top of the league song as us - I prefer ours
  • Akinfenwe is bloody huge! Even bigger than he looks on TV
  • It's always MUCH colder at Town than Chelsea
  • But I get home much earlier
  • Shrews left back Grandison's arse is I think even bigger than Brana's
  • How did Liverpool only just beat AFC Wimbledon in the FA cup - they are dire!
  • Still top

Come on Palace!

Got to laugh at the Stoke score.  My boss's boss is a Stoke fan.  So far this season the games I know he's been to are Chelsea, City and Blackburn.  He's not exactly a talisman is he?  I can feel another email needing to be written on Monday.
