February 15, 201511 yr I think Villa's win today will mean that we will play Leicester on the weekend of 7/8 March As for the cup ABL for me.
February 15, 201511 yr Messi is really picking up form. He's going to slaughter City. Last couple of months he's been the best in the world again.
February 15, 201511 yr Spotted a few gunners afraid of an away draw at Bradford. Reckon Arsenal couldn't play on that surface.

February 15, 201511 yr Only Zlatan can get away with that level of sh*thousery. Looks awful. They are temporary tattoos of people's names who are suffering from hunger.
February 16, 201511 yr Or, I'd love to see Bradford smash one of the bigguns. May well have a wager. Last year was the 25th anniversary of Hillsborough, and the media were willing Liverpool to win the Premiership to mark the tragedy. This year is the 30th anniversary of the Bradford Fire. And, with Bradford City in the last eight of the FA Cup, the media are willing Liverpool to win it to mark Stevie Me's departure to LA Galaxy.
February 16, 201511 yr Looks like pressures getting to Poyet, I honestly don't think he will be at Sunderland come the end of the season

February 16, 201511 yr I don't usually care about a cup competition after we're eliminated but this time I'm going to make an exception to the rule and hope Bradford wins the FA Cup this year. It would be great to witness!
February 16, 201511 yr Trying to create an 'underrated Premier League XI' but struggling a little - has anyone got any ideas?
February 16, 201511 yr Maybe something like this? Suppose it depends on who you think is underrated. ----------------Guzan-------------- Coleman------Collins---Williams---Bertrand --------Jedinak-----Delph--- Schneiderlin--- Gayle-------------Ings------------------Assiadi
February 16, 201511 yr That's a good side, but I was thinking a historical (or at least since 1992) one, I've jotted down a few candidates (Distin, Ferrer, Sorensen, Osman, Mendonca) but haven't quite put an XI together yet. Tempted to stick Malbranque in there as I have always thought that he was a genius, but I don't know if he was genuinely underrated, he even got credit from Tony Blair! James Collins is a good shout though - I once saw someone in a live stream chat box refer to him as 'Professor Hoofenstein', which is just about the most perfect nickname I have ever heard and since, have always pledged to call him that, in tribute to that anonymous genius. Don't know about Ings and Delph as any young English player with even a smidgen of talent will always receive plaudits, also I feel that Schneiderlin is well-appreciated.
February 16, 201511 yr Ah thought you meant just this season! No wonder you are struggling. Yeah there were a few like Coleman, Delph and Ings that obviously are ratted but I couldn't think of others who have impressed who don't play for a bigger club. Looking back to the mid 90's and onwards will take quite some time! Good luck.
February 16, 201511 yr One who would be in my team would be Gary McAllister. WHat a player he was and until he moved to the bin dippers I don't think he got as much appreciation as he should have. What a free kick on him too!

Irksome isn't it. I am backing Bradford to the hilt. I love a David beats Goliath scenario and I know, from when we lost to them and their fans came on the forum, many of us on here would love to see them win. Let's get behind them and show the media and say tata to Gerrard.

Yakubu would get my vote as one, he had a great scoring record at one point. Who was the Swedish (?) central defender who played for Villa with the big beard... eventually left for Juventus he was pretty good. This is actually a lot harder than I thought it would be....

February 16, 201511 yr My GK would have to be Jääskeläinen, stayed with Bolton for years and always thought he was a really solid keeper.
February 16, 201511 yr mellburg? YES! that's the one Olof Melberg (managed to look him up now). I always thought he was a pretty steady defender myself.

I never quite knew what to make of Yakubu - he'd be absolutely magnificent for half a season, score a hat trick against Man Utd, then would regress to Akinbiyi levels of incompetence for the other half. I guess it's not entirely dissimilar to Adebayor's form over the years. Mellberg is a brilliant idea though, he was a magnificent defender.
