February 13, 201511 yr Why is my name in the top right corner? Do you have Google+? If you do, and you're logged in, then your Google+ name is going to be right there.
February 13, 201511 yr Lovely bloke, but we made right move to sell when we did and he is reason we are stronger...£50m paid for most of Costa and Fabregas and showed in World Cup semi that he hasn't learnt a thing I know it made sense but wish we could have kept him just for his character. Or as a mascot.
February 13, 201511 yr I'll always love Luiz for his antics on the bus during the CL parade! "We are Chelsea Maaaaaan" ..."Bluuuuuuue is tha colourrrrr" What a guy! Edited February 13, 201511 yr by Chelsbear

February 13, 201511 yr Looking forward to facing Luiz. Costa and Hazard will have a field day! Luiz is capable of having top displays as he did for us on several occasions, he might just be up for this one.
February 13, 201511 yr Luiz is capable of having top displays as he did for us on several occasions, he might just be up for this one. True. Remember the CL final! What a performance that was and carrying an injury too. I'm just trying to think best possible scenario for us lol. He will get a huge reception at the Bridge in any case which he really deserves, he loved the club and support and we loved him back. A CL winner so a blue for life.

February 13, 201511 yr Andy Carroll out for another 6 weeks, this time with a torn ligament in his knee. The boy can't catch a break with injuries can he? It's just got worse for him. it's just been confirmed that he will miss the rest of the season.

I miss him. "If only were more David Luizes in the world, there would be no more wars. It was true back then; it is still true now." I saw his "trying to be normal" tweet this morning while I was having breakfast, it made me smile and I've been in a pretty good mood ever since (although it being Friday probably plays a part too).
February 13, 201511 yr It's just got worse for him. it's just been confirmed that he will miss the rest of the season. Think he will just end up being one of 'those' players who will end his career early because his legs are just not doing it for him.
February 13, 201511 yr It's just got worse for him. it's just been confirmed that he will miss the rest of the season. Absolutely gutting, he's been injured for the majority of the time he's been with West Ham now, each time when he's coming back to fitness he looks like he's worked hard and generally comes back and plays quite well. Even at 26 these injuries must be starting to catch up with him and it's shame because he's a such a direct player, a real battering ram centre forward and (when not playing against us) I do quite enjoy watching him play.
February 13, 201511 yr I think he's a sh*t player to be honest, a nob head aswell. Gotten a bit better at West Ham though but I still don't rate him.
February 13, 201511 yr For a direct team like West Ham he is a crucial player. He'd fit into any side who like to play that way. He's not a fancy or pacey forward but he is of the old mould, Big...Strong and thrives on a good battle with centre backs. Reminds me a bit of Dunc Ferguson.

He's definitely a player who, when giving 100% in challenges, etc, is am injury waiting to happen. Big Sam must be cursing his luck.

February 13, 201511 yr Carroll might as well just retire. He's got a severe case of the Kieron Dyer's
February 13, 201511 yr Am I the only one that thinks if Moyes was given 200 million quid to spend like Van Gaal that he'd have United playing significantly better football? He's been total dross but United can't have a 4th manager in the space of less than 2 years, that isn't the United way, so they'll continue to pretend like he's been anything other than awful.
February 13, 201511 yr Just wait until Man utd get a penalty shoot out. Then his genius will come into its own and the money will all have been worth it.

Significantly better football? Very, very unlikely. He's not really shown enough over his years as a manager to even suggest that. Might have a couple more points than Van Gaal as his tactics are easy to pick up and find players for but it's not like Van Gaal has done too badly on that front either. He could do better and I'm sure there are managers out there that would have spent that money more wisely and have the team playing good football by now but I highly doubt Moyes is one of them. It was the right decision to sack him, Van Gaal at his worst is still winning games. Moyes couldn't even get them to string a couple of passes together. Edited February 13, 201511 yr by Remodez
February 14, 201511 yr Regarding Van Gaal's spending I often wonder if those players are even his signings or whether they are just club signings with his signature on, we know for a start that Herrera and Shaw were already joining. Others like Di Maria and Falcao especially seem like club signings, who were thinking more about the profile of those players rather than if they were what the team actually needed.
February 14, 201511 yr I honestly think United fans are just being United fans, United are a global brand, They're listed on the stock exchange, If United failed to get top 4 this year, The price of that share and United's global appeal in China, US and Africa would severely decline, From what I can see Van Gaal's job is to deliver top 4 no matter what. I find it funny how United fans think they have too big of a fan base to go into a decline, They do realize that those 'United' fans in China, US and Africa will most probably just go 'Oops I'm a City/Chelsea supporter now' if United continue to lose. Most foreign fans are not really fans, They are merely customers who enjoy a team's product within their passion for the overall sport, Do you reckon Atletico Madrid will have a few more supporters across the world now that they are competing? You bet. Most of them are die hard supporters of teams within their country but their support fluctuates for foreign teams, It's similar with us over here, City through and through but now days I like rooting for Real Madrid whereas during Guardiola's reign at Barcelona, I rooted for them, I also remember supporting Valencia against Barca/Madrid during the Benitez years, That's the luxury of being a foreign fan, You can change your allegiances and no one will give you stick for it. That's why Van Gaal has them playing dire, cautious football because they need that CL money and marketing, Next year will be the year where the quality of football has to improve and a title push will be asked of him, Last year really mentally affected the club, They cannot let the bitter berties get ahead of them so much in such short space of time, All thanks to the Moyesiah I guess. p.s. I want everyone to know I said most foreign fans not all Edited February 14, 201511 yr by Kinkladze1871
February 14, 201511 yr Eurgh, SSN right now is a huge Liverpool love in. You'd think they were bloody Barca! Also mentioning that hideous Nivea advert with Henderson. Subway AND Nivea. Well at least they've set their sights a little higher this time! ;)
February 14, 201511 yr West Ham appear not to like it rough, they can dish it out but can not take it. Love it.
