March 24, 201511 yr Steve Gerrard Gerrard He's hit it from 30 yards It's gone over the f**king bar Steve Gerrard Gerrard As posted elsewhere, stolen from Twitter:He slips, he stamps, He's not as good as Lamps, Steven Gerrard, Steven Gerrard!
March 24, 201511 yr Suarez was headline news on Sky News for a few days after both his most recent biting incidents. JT is an awkward case because there was a time when it felt like there was a news story about him every week for a while on the back and front pages of the papers. You can literally go right back to the time he broke into the first team for that stuff. Interestingly he's been considered for an analysts job on Sky upon retiring. Quite frankly, Mike Tyson got banned for life from his sport for biting one person. I'd also point that numerous of those headlines were people decrying how unfairly Suarez was being treated. That being given an extremely lenient ban was indeed treating Suarez like a murderer. Lets not forget that was his third strike for biting alone. A mass murdered will tend to get far more coverage than a simple one off murderer and certainly more press than a GBH.... well it should anyways.
March 24, 201511 yr Soccer AM used to do an 'American' commentary parody on MLS games and for some reason called the goalies 'mongrels'. Can't beat the real deal though:- A lot of empty seats there for a liverpool tour match considering what that extremely annoying scouce prick micky quinn was spouting on sunday morning on talkcrap about a liverpool match filling every stadium when they tour abroad because they`re along with man u are still the biggest clubs in the world and man city and us don`t....blah blah blah
March 24, 201511 yr You mean the same Martin Tyler that shouted "HE'S DONE IT" on 19/05/12, come on leave it out. Martin Tyler has his moments but overall he is monotone, bias and very boring to listen too. He only ever shows excitement in the big games and even in those games he is quiet most of the time. When there is a goal, most of the time all you will hear him say is "and it's a goal" in his monotone voice. He sounds like he is bored when he commentates.
March 24, 201511 yr Don't know if it's been mentioned but according to the BBC Skirtel has denied the stamping on David de Gea, if this is true let's see how the FA deal with this one.
March 24, 201511 yr Suarez got off very lightly IMO with both the racism and first biting incident compared to what Terry had to go through and then Costa for his challenge during the Liverpool game. We need to remember Suarez was done for racism, biting, diving, elbowing and more yet still never received the level of bad press that Costa got until the latter incident at the world cup. Suarez got away with a huge amount. Eye gouges, stamps, elbows, achilles rakes. Amazing to think the only red card of his career was that World Cup handball. Until he crossed the line so far that even playing for a club with a teflon reputation couldn't save him.
March 24, 201511 yr Blue Daze is on his media crusade again ladies & gents! Don't dare to consider that the media have any kind of agenda at all!
March 24, 201511 yr Blue Daze is on his media crusade again ladies & gents! Don't dare to consider that the media have any kind of agenda at all! And once again asking questions means I'm an apologist for the media as a whole or on a crusade, despite me saying that there are specific publications and writers who deserve condemnation. Good work there. You can tell the people who have a genuine interest in this topic from those who don't by the use of the term 'the media'. Edited March 24, 201511 yr by Blue Daze
March 24, 201511 yr Martin Skrtel denies stamping on De Gea and Gary Lineker sums it up beautifully. Gary Lineker ?@GaryLineker 5m5 minutes ago Martin Skrtel has denied stamping on David de Gea. And I don't have big ears.

Good work there. You can tell the people who have a genuine interest in this topic from those who don't by the use of the term 'the media'. You carry on. Lets go into it deeper for you then shall we. At anytime should anybody hint that a Chelsea player is treated differently in 'the media' be that the written press, sky sports, MOTD or on a radio phone in, you leap to the defence of 'the media' and claim that its ridiculous to think such a thing. Even when the case is smacking you in the face you will argue that it's not. As I said, you carry on.

Even when the case is smacking you in the face you will argue that it's not. As I said, you carry on. I disagree with what you're saying. There are many people in the media who talk utter sh*t - in fact there's a whole radio station practically dedicated to it - but there are also writers and pundits who come out with some sensible stuff. I've said before that there is stuff that needs to be criticised and even condemned but when people are ready to scream 'campaign' at even the smallest whiff of a slight against this club, it dilutes the genuine arguments. But you carry on with moaning about every little thing and using the term 'the media' as if it's a single entity. Let's just agree to disagree on this. No need to carry it on for the hell of it. Have a good one. Edited March 24, 201511 yr by Blue Daze
March 24, 201511 yr Jesus these guys are cringe worthy imo. "If you had the power to ensure that Chelsea suffer a ridiculous collapse, dropping say 12 to 15 points in their last 9 matches, would you use it?" Can't stop laughing my ass off.. http://www.redcafe.net/threads/would-you-gamble-on-a-chelsea-collapse.402771/
March 24, 201511 yr It's plain to see we're treated worse in the media than others, I think these latest stamping incidents from Liverpool players goes a long way in adding more fuel to that fire. All you have to do is look at the Costa headlines compared to the ones about Gerrard and Skrtel. Even take the Evans Cisse spit Storm that had literally like two days coverage whereas they went on and on about the Costa stamp against Liverpool. The reasons were treated differently though are because our manager writes headlines and were the top club in the Country at the moment. Edited March 24, 201511 yr by Bobbywoodhogan

Never thought some of the most positive "nuetral" sources CFC comments I've seen in 2015 would be coming from a MUFC forum. Edited March 24, 201511 yr by Barry Bridges
March 24, 201511 yr I've always felt that Redcafe is the best of the popular rival forums. By quite a distance. In any case, I actually think that's a pretty interesting question and thread!
March 25, 201511 yr Redcafe is good because they have a separate newbie forum from where you have to get promoted to the main one. That I imagine filters out most of the trolls. As with any forum with thousands of members, you'll find morons on there as well, but you also get lots of intelligent views and discussion.
March 25, 201511 yr Red Cafe is the only other football forum where I feel the posters (or the majority of them!) are actually decent human beings with intelligent thoughts and views. Of course their gunna lay into their rivals (we do!) but I do enjoy reading through their posts. Blue Moon and RAWK are shocking!
March 25, 201511 yr I've long suspected that RAWK is a parody account, but then the amount of hard that would go in to making it seem so realistic, is at odds with my preconceptions of Scousers.
March 25, 201511 yr http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32050323 No shame over suicide bid, despite risking other peoples lives who are just going about their business Tosser.
March 25, 201511 yr Depression is a serious illness and should be treated with the utmost respect. Not enough is done about it in society. But. And I feel bad saying this. I don't like Clarke Carlisle and have found him to be self serving and rather desperate it his post-retirement years. Reconciling these two beliefs is very tricky.
March 25, 201511 yr http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32050323 No shame over suicide bid, despite risking other peoples lives who are just going about their business Tosser. Agreed. No wonder the lorry driver didn't want to meet him, he probably ruined the poor mans life. I have no time for people that put others lifes at risk to serve their own selfish ways.
March 25, 201511 yr Carlisle is a danger to himself and to others, especially with regards to drink driving. Personally I wish the BBC would stop giving him a public platform. I find him extremely dis-likable and often disagree with his opinions.
