I don't understand where this Top 3, one of the best GK's talk is all about. For me he is a liability. A GK who can't control his area doesn't deserve to be in top 10 GK's, let alone top 3. It isnt as if he is saving us day in and day out either. He is just average, that's all. 

Wow! First time am seeing a Chelsea fan being unbiased regarding Courtois. How I wish I can like this post a hundred times.
If only all of us are being this sincere, Coutois will have no choice but to train better to improve his flaws in other to keep his place and get an improved contract here. But with everyone over rating an average keeper, he will never improve because he believe based on fans assessment he is already at his peak and one of the best in the world despite being sh*t anytime we ain't stable defensively. So he will always remain the same.
When Degea came to United and struggle at first, the criticism he received from fans and the media made him improve and become one of the best in the world and the best in the EPL today.
So let's continue to hype Coutois!

I always get the feeling with this guy that he is waiting for Madrid to come in for him so he can go. Doesn't look as impressive for us as he was for Ath Madrid.

Trust me, its simply because that team was solid defensively. Anytime our defenders do their job perfectly Courtois is always at his best.

I'm not even sure he was that bad Saturday. Sometimes those shots/headers are just out of reach, not much you can do about that,. Other than stop the shots/headers arriving in the first place.

sh*te talk, plain and simple. Courtois controls his area much better than the likes of De Gea, we were spoilt with Cech because he was the best in the world at controlling his area, Courtois isn't up to that level, but he has often pulled clutch saves for us. I refer you to the FA cup against spurs where the wall didn't do its job and courtois pulled a miracle save to keep out Kane's free kick. Also the save against Van Aanholt's strike playing sunderland last year. I'll also refer you to the game against arsenal in February where he made several great saves. 

We have the second best keeper in the league behind De Gea, who I rate over Neuer any day. Buffon Neuer and De Gea are the only keepers better than Tibo.

Since 2010 I have never missed watching any of our match. So the fact that I can't remember him saving our blush in games we have being playing badly shows he only does it once or twice in about 50 games.
Ask me about Degea or Shmeichel of Leicester and I will tell you about numerous times they have won there team points through there bravery and repeated incredible saves in games. Just watch any of there next match and see for yourself.

Usually, GKs save their teams blushes a lot when their team is actually sh*t. Like De Gea with United the past few seasons.

We all know Hazard and the other players that won us the league before that season played lots of games and were burnout. And that was the season for Courtois a goal keeper to show he can be a top keeper even for a sh*t team.
I can't imagine him being a keeper for a team like Leicester, he will be dreadful and blame the board for not signing top defenders every game.

Stop trying to tie yourself in a knot trying to slate Courtois. He had a bad season. Like the rest of the team. Simple. Even De Gea as great as he was couldn't save United from finishing 7th and United weren't even nearly as bad as Chelsea were in 15/16.

His home debut Vs Leicester when he made two crucial saves with the score 0-0.

The game at The Ehtiad when Lamps scored he made two big saves shortly before Schurrle put us in front.

The two legs Vs Liverpool in the Carling cup when he alone prevented a Arsenal Vs Bayern lite humiliation, likewise in the CL Vs PSG a month later.

Nearly every single victory in the second half of the title 2015 season was owed to a big Save from him.

The two games vs United under Guus.

The game Vs City under Guus which he prevented from being a total whitewash.

The 4-0 Vs United where he made four big saves while ironically your idol let all his in.

The 3-1 win at The Ehtiad were he made numerous saves at 0-0, 1-0 down to keep us in with a shot.

You are wasting your breath. He has already put forward this Courtois argument with several others a few weeks back. I got into with him because he also thinks we need to buy Moreno from Liverpool !!!!!!!

Sunderland second half away last season, semi final spuds early on. People forget, I go to games like other people and we don't remember every performance of every player.

Yeah and we finished 10th. Big deal. Buffon has made more errors and let in more easy goals than Courtois over the past 3 years. You don't see anyone saying Buffon isn't world class.

I seem to remember him saving a penalty against West Brom that ensured we won the game 3-2 at the start of the year then was injured for 4 months until Jose was sacked. Hard to play well when you're coming off the back off a massive injury. The seasons after and all the seasons before he was an incredible force though. The so called De Gea wonders saves are often just him making a fairly standard save look better because he dives about acrobatically.

The City, Liverpool and PSG games, he made great saves, the sort I will expect consistently from a goal keeper of a top 4 EPL team. But you can put your money on Courtois as he is seriously prone to conceding embarrassing goals immediately after being impressive the match before. And the others on that list are normal saves you will expect from average keepers like Hereulho Gomes.
