Did you see his penalty against PSG last summer? The bloke knows how to take them. If Conte thinks he should be taking one then long may it continue.

I was thinking maybe if he didn't play any but he relax himself and focus on how to save the ball from getting into the net we could have had a better chance instead of him multitasking himself trying to do both.

Outside of the penalty shootout Courtois was excellent.  If there was ever a time to test his mettle (if he wants to be a penalty taker) it's during a trophy game that doesn't mean much else other than bragging rights.  He didn't take it well, ok, we will see if he ever takes another.  Certainly not in the number 2 role, I think.  

He dove the wrong way every penalty against him...that is not good.

Although Wallosh is being stupid questioning his goalkeeping ability when he was the reason it went to pens hehas a point re the penalty, i said at the time he took one vs Paris that 9 times out of 10 it would have gone over the top.

I don't think losing on pks makes either team cowards regardless of whether a keeper took one. If he's one of your best at it, wht would you keep him out?

Miss your penalty and what does that do to you mentally? Are you as focused on the task of stopping penalties or has the miss got in your head? 

I don't like it personally, there should comfortably be 5 outfield players capable and willing to take penalties without your goalkeeper feeling the need to step in.

Should of chucked Cabalerro in goal for penalties that seems to be his forte.

Get the frustrations, but look how gutted he was at missing his pen and then losing the shoot-out...good to see he gives a sh*t, even in a nothing trophy like the Community Shield...he actually had a bloody good game before that but of course that's been quickly forgotten

Actually I think Courtois must have insisted on taking one of the first five penalty kicks.
