Clearly wants out..especially if his kids are in Spain. 

If he must go, swap him for Oblak. Thibaut knows the club, the same city and he's helped them to multiple trophies when he was on loan there.

If RM comes in, then milk them and use that money for Oblak.

I do get the feeling he will be sold in the off-season (for a lower price with only one year left).

If it happens, I'd like to think we'd push hard for Oblak, and failing that, perhaps Donnarumma?

Can't hate a guy for wanting to be with his family, would be difficult and I'm sure he feels badly about leaving us in the process.  Will be very hard to replace.  He stepped into the shoes of an absolute champion and we barely batted an eyelid, that is incredibly hard to do.

Unfortunate as he is a good GK but he can be replaced with relative ease, if he goes to Atletico we can get Oblak, if RM then we'll get Keylor Navas. I don't recall Tibo making as many game winning saves than other keepers like Cech and De Gea because our defence is a bigger contributing factor to winning games.

As long as we don't get a calamitous replacement we should be fine.

The stats might prove me wrong, but just based on watching CHelsea games, I feel like he doesn't actually make that many saves. Our defence does a great job most of the time blocking shots, and it seems like any half decent shot that gets past them, more often than not goes in, which I suppose isn't that unexpected as goalkeeping is difficult, but I'm sure Cech made more saves.

Understandable he wants to be closer to his kids. Hopefully we can come to a good agreement with him and a buying club for a fair market price so we can get a decent replacement.

I don't know the exact save stats, but the Cech that returned from injury up until early 2010 then again from AVB tenure onwards was so nervous in commanding his area and being proactive (somewhat understandably given what he went through) and we conceded a lot of clear chances from set pieces because of that, infact at one point he was struggling to the point Canizares was heavily linked. Courtois had a slight wobble under Hiddink but besides that has been running his own air traffic control service, and it really goes underestimated how crucial that is, we don't concede many clear cut chances from set pieces and the Atletico game was the first time since the first game of last season we have conceded from a corner.

Prime Cech is a totally different argument, but he is definitely better than the version of Pete from 2008 onwards.

You and many others assume oblek would want to come, atletico would want tibo back in the first place since, I would argue, their current keeper is as good if not better than tibo and that they would rate tibo at the same near 80mill value of oblek.

Tibo to real I reckon. They need a star name keeper with experience, he is that and it puts him close to his kids. The fact real made it so easy for us to get morata, who is turning in to a trojan horse of a gift arguably lol, while fighting against United also adds to my thoughts on this.

Realistically given tibos situation and his contract length we should be in contact with real at the turn of the new year. Agree a deal that suits everyone, get a decent price then start negotiating on a replacement. Gives us best part of 8 months to get it right before he goes in the summer.

Real have their star keeper lined up, tibo can concentrate on the rest of our season knowing his future is sorted and we can sort out a replacement without rushing.

Hope the rumor is true and he will sign on, I still don't understand the so called ' advanced negotiations'. What's that mean, waiting for the fax machine or the bank to clear the check?

To be honest, I can't see him denying Real Madrid in the summer. We must be offering a very good contract and put few promises to keep him. I'm pretty sure it's going to be Navas's last season, they will be looking for a world-class goalkeeper, their options would be Courtois or De Gea, not sure how this situation will end up, but I have a bad feeling here.

There's no point losing too much sleep over it, he/Hazard may go, they may not. We always use to panic we would lose Drogba, Lamps etc while they were in their prime but it never happened.

At the moment, the current football doesn't have the players like Drogba, Lampard. Not talking about their level, talking about their character, respect, love. I really want to believe that Courtois and Hazard made of it, but these days are crazy, when PSG allow themselves to pay 222m on Neymar and he accepts to join them, then you will never know what will happen.

Jack Butland would be a good choice. I know he choose Stoke over us due to first team chances but if Tibo goes lets go in for him. Pretty sure he couldn't say no.

Maybe, but there was rumours for a good while both wanted out, Lamps to Barca/Inter and Didier to basically anywhere but here. In the summer of 2008 the only 2 player's i was 100% confident was staying were Terry and Ballack

He's been playing at a high level (and probably above anything post injury Cech has produced) for the duration of Conte's time here.

Only if they are Belgian and they realized they can't force us to pay them incredible wages

Clos to signing a new deal and has said that if he signs, Hazard will also sign.
