I'm all for tech that gives correct offside decisions but I don't want the game stopping when someone's been taken out and they're deciding whether it's a pen or a dive. A little technology is a good thing but a lot will ruin the game imo.

An appropriate use of it, surely this would solve any incidents like potentially career ending tackles?

I don't see anything to suggest anything would change even if video techonology was implemented. There would still be FA referees that decided the outcome. Like the Greaves guy that got to see every challenge and situation on tape and came to the conclusion Burnley/Ashley Barnes did nothing wrong. I'm convinced there is a campagin, against Jose Mourinho first and foremost by the FA.

I'm in a sh*t mood today and I think it's cause I've spoken to people about this. Some Leeds fans said we deserve it cause we have money. Don't see how that works exactly and some said that we have ruined football yada yada so it's justice. Leeds fans the most jealous f**ks on the planet.

No I get frustrated when people don't see the obvious cause of bias, I've admitted stuff before about clubs I hate cause they were bad decisions.

IMHO we have seen some horrible decisions go against this club - I won't repeat them cause they will bring grief & anger to us all - but I am going to say that there is a campaign against CFC - We already know that Blatter & Plantini hate the club - we know that the dirty red scousers hate us - we know that both dirty mancs hate us - then we have the rest of London despising the club - there is a lot of hate against CFC & it's always in abundance, but for me it strengthens my desire for the club - I say f**k them all & up the Chels!!!

Really? I thoroughly enjoyed witnessing his displeasure myself... I love seeing people who don't like (or appear not to like) Chelsea when we win things.

This. Platini's face was the icing on the cake for the greatest night of my life.

Oh and as for this campaign issue, I have to say I'm a believer. Well, kinda. I'm certainly suspicious at this point. I wasn't in total agreement with Jose when he first made the claim after the Saints away game. I thought it was the halfway stage in the season and we'd had no luck with referees but it was bound to even itself out and purely be coincidental. I'm starting to lose faith in that narrative; the amount going against us is becoming ridiculous.

 

Of course some go for you and some go against in football, and most seasons I feel the split is close enough to 50/50, but not this season. Never, in my entire life of supporting Chelsea, have I seen quite this many decisions so against us and so few go for us.

 

It has come to the point where I'm wondering how we will be denied a penalty against Spurs on the weekend, not if. Will it be a handball? Push? Late slide tackle? Who knows.

We need to do to them what we did last time we met at Wembley in 2012. Loved all the goals that day but the Drogs was something else.

Essien didnt know how to score an average goal. Wasn't a massive scorer but whenever he did they were belters.

To add some context, Chelsea leads the league in goals and tops the table by 5 points. Chelsea also have a player who has the combined most dribbles and fouls-against in the the league. They aren't pulling aren't pulling a Dortmund and lighting up the CL while stinking up the league.

The amount of fould we recieve in games is always quite high yet look at the cards.

The protection or lack of Hazard get's is a complete joke, it always seems he get's a dozen strong challenges before the refs finally give a card.

That was worse than Matic's shove, to be honest it's clear for all to see what's happening at the moment.

Perhaps the stick he's gotten from our game he was less reluctant to send another player off. It doesn't excuse it but I really think a lot of the refs are just sh*t at their jobs.

Great work, BB. I read your stats on the Guardian site, and then noticed Samuel had used them as the basis for his article, so you've certainly made an impact with your research.

The fact that no Guardian journos showed an interest in them is, to my mind, damning of the writers on that paper, who seem to get paid for writing anti-Chelsea drivel.
