February 24, 201511 yr I'm all for tech that gives correct offside decisions but I don't want the game stopping when someone's been taken out and they're deciding whether it's a pen or a dive. A little technology is a good thing but a lot will ruin the game imo. I've got an idea. Why don't the FA use technology to punish players for cimes missed by the refs? Has this been suggested yet?
February 24, 201511 yr I've got an idea. Why don't the FA use technology to punish players for cimes missed by the refs? Has this been suggested yet? An appropriate use of it, surely this would solve any incidents like potentially career ending tackles?
February 24, 201511 yr I don't see anything to suggest anything would change even if video techonology was implemented. There would still be FA referees that decided the outcome. Like the Greaves guy that got to see every challenge and situation on tape and came to the conclusion Burnley/Ashley Barnes did nothing wrong. I'm convinced there is a campagin, against Jose Mourinho first and foremost by the FA.
February 24, 201511 yr Perhaps you can f**k off then! Sayibg I live in a cave cause I'm against too much tech, you say you aren't doing the I'm right you're wrong crap well you pretty much are with your attitude. Can you not express your self with out effing & blinding. I am saying if every one dismissed progress & tecno advavances we all would be still living in caves, I'm in a sh*t mood today and I think it's cause I've spoken to people about this. Some Leeds fans said we deserve it cause we have money. Don't see how that works exactly and some said that we have ruined football yada yada so it's justice. Leeds fans the most jealous f**ks on the planet. So you was in a bad mood because opposistion fans never agree with you about the injustice of those wrong discisions, surly if with had tecno help for ref it helps get the correct result and no more injustice.

I can but its no f**king fun. No I get frustrated when people don't see the obvious cause of bias, I've admitted stuff before about clubs I hate cause they were bad decisions.
February 24, 201511 yr IMHO we have seen some horrible decisions go against this club - I won't repeat them cause they will bring grief & anger to us all - but I am going to say that there is a campaign against CFC - We already know that Blatter & Plantini hate the club - we know that the dirty red scousers hate us - we know that both dirty mancs hate us - then we have the rest of London despising the club - there is a lot of hate against CFC & it's always in abundance, but for me it strengthens my desire for the club - I say f**k them all & up the Chels!!!

Remember Platini's face when we win the European Cup? I thought that was disgusting. FA are w**kers pure and simple, I hope this really gets the players backs up.

February 25, 201511 yr Remember Platini's face when we win the European Cup? I thought that was disgusting. Really? I thoroughly enjoyed witnessing his displeasure myself... I love seeing people who don't like (or appear not to like) Chelsea when we win things. The phrases 'bulldog chewing a wasp' and 'cow licking piss off a thistle' come to mind for some reason...

Oh no don't get me wrong loved it myself but it was disgusting that he showed his displeasure infron of millions, he's supposed to be impartial after all.

He's french, he's an anglophobe! i can't stand that fifty faced c**t. you would have thought as an ex-player he would not have been as bad johansson but he's worse, simply cos as an ex player he's a bent as all the rest.

February 26, 201511 yr Oh and as for this campaign issue, I have to say I'm a believer. Well, kinda. I'm certainly suspicious at this point. I wasn't in total agreement with Jose when he first made the claim after the Saints away game. I thought it was the halfway stage in the season and we'd had no luck with referees but it was bound to even itself out and purely be coincidental. I'm starting to lose faith in that narrative; the amount going against us is becoming ridiculous. Of course some go for you and some go against in football, and most seasons I feel the split is close enough to 50/50, but not this season. Never, in my entire life of supporting Chelsea, have I seen quite this many decisions so against us and so few go for us. It has come to the point where I'm wondering how we will be denied a penalty against Spurs on the weekend, not if. Will it be a handball? Push? Late slide tackle? Who knows.
February 26, 201511 yr We need to do to them what we did last time we met at Wembley in 2012. Loved all the goals that day but the Drogs was something else.
February 26, 201511 yr Essien didnt know how to score an average goal. Wasn't a massive scorer but whenever he did they were belters.
February 27, 201511 yr Very few journalists tell it as it is. Martin Samuel is one .. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/article-2971037/Jose-Mourinho-right-Chelsea-hard-s-proof.html
February 27, 201511 yr I'm going to abuse these stats because I find it so amusing. I apologize. Games Per Penalty Awarded Club - BPL - CL CFC - 13 - 1.5 MCFC- 3.7 - 3 Arse - 3.7 - 6 LFC - 6.5 - 6 To add some context, Chelsea leads the league in goals and tops the table by 5 points. Chelsea also have a player who has the combined most dribbles and fouls-against in the the league. They aren't pulling aren't pulling a Dortmund and lighting up the CL while stinking up the league. That's one hell of a coincidence. Very few journalists tell it as it is. Martin Samuel is one .. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/article-2971037/Jose-Mourinho-right-Chelsea-hard-s-proof.html Perhaps fans can help dictate an agenda through the media. I posted these stats across here a few times as well as across many DailyMail articles, including one on the Matic/Barnes fiasco by Martin Samuel which he used to create his latest debate piece. I only used the group stages but he obviously has used the 1st leg of the last 16 too. Needless to say, I dont think its a coincidence but rather a sign that us fans have the potential to steer the media towards discussions/narratives we want. Edit: also spammed the stats on a few Guardian articles, no idea if that caught anything. Edited February 27, 201511 yr by Barry Bridges
February 27, 201511 yr Opposition facing the Blues have received just 28 yellow cards for fouls this season, placing them at the bottom of the table The statistics show that there is no correlation between being targeted and success – struggling QPR are third highest with 45 opposition yellows, while high-flying Manchester City are fourth with 44. Eden Hazard is the most fouled player in the Premier League this season, and Mourinho has called for more protection for the Belgian. Yellow cards from fouls: 1. Sunderland 55 2. Arsenal 46 3. QPR 45 4. Manchester City 44 5. Stoke City 43 6. Man United 42 7. Hull City 40 8. Newcastle 40 9. Liverpool 39 10. Everton 38 11. Tottenham 38 12. Swansea City 38 13. Aston Villa 37 14. Burnley 36 15. West Ham 35 16. Leicester City 34 17. Southampton 33 18. West Brom 31 19. Crystal Palace 29 20. Chelsea 28
February 27, 201511 yr Pretty damning viewing. The amount of fould we recieve in games is always quite high yet look at the cards. The protection or lack of Hazard get's is a complete joke, it always seems he get's a dozen strong challenges before the refs finally give a card.
March 4, 201511 yr Atkinson refereed Southampton vs Palace last night and only gave a yellow for this.............. http://makeagif.com/YF_sv_
March 4, 201511 yr Atkinson refereed Southampton vs Palace last night and only gave a yellow for this.............. http://makeagif.com/YF_sv_ That was worse than Matic's shove, to be honest it's clear for all to see what's happening at the moment.
March 4, 201511 yr Perhaps the stick he's gotten from our game he was less reluctant to send another player off. It doesn't excuse it but I really think a lot of the refs are just sh*t at their jobs.

I read your stats on the Guardian site, and then noticed Samuel had used them as the basis for his article, so you've certainly made an impact with your research. The fact that no Guardian journos showed an interest in them is, to my mind, damning of the writers on that paper, who seem to get paid for writing anti-Chelsea drivel.
