What is souness on about? How is fabregas wasted playing deeper?! Correct me if i'm wrong, but didn't cesc say that he's playing his best football because he is playing in his preferred, most comfortable position? 

 

He hasn't got a clue what he is talking about. Fabregas is less effective playing behind the striker, pretty much all of his assists has come from deep so i don't know how he is wasted when he is playing deeper. Like you said, Fabregas said that playing deeper is his best position, i think Fabregas knows his best position better than Souness.
