Zeta you don't need to be so negative all the time.

I've not been anywhere near as negative this season and last season as I have in previous years. But when I see our manager getting rid of lots of young, creative players and replacing them with over-priced cack who can do not much more than run around, and when i see week after week our performances getting worse, with the same problems again and again that he's doing nothing to sort out, I will point it out.

We are still in a great position in the league, but if we don't turn it up a bit, we will drop plenty more points.

I think Cesc needs to be playing in the 10 role, sit Oscar down and start to play out wide to stretch the defence.   We just can't keep going through the middle.  We need players that have the ability to run at the defenders and have the confidence to take them on.  And how about having a shot now and then from beyond 10 yards. I saw a number of chances for a shot and instead the ball went back or sideways. I've said it all year ..Ivan needs to play in the centre of defence....wonderful to get beyond the half way line when we are on the front foot but he continuously leaves the right side exposed which then pulls Cahill to the right side leaving a gap in the middle.  Dave Right Side, Luis left side and I would find another CDM to play alongside Matic. clearly Ramires is not the man and neither is Oscar or Zouma.  Matic does tend to get caught up field now and then which leaves the two centre backs woefully exposed when you have the opposition running at them....anyway, 10 games left and Jose has to do it with the full use of this squad not just the same 15 players...Hull next week is no gimme and its only going get harder from this point forward..

i'm so frustrated by all this I might order a Dominos pizza

Don't you even think about it sir! You are allowed a grilled chicken sandwich, that's it! Besides, Domino's is awful. [emoji21]

We need to rotate and not 10 minute cameos.

If we start with the same 11 the same thing will continue to happen.

I can't be positive about dropping yet more home points after our main challengers gave us a HUGE chance this weekend. The players simply don't look at it to me.

So in terms of the "big" sides left we have Arsenal away, United and Liverpool at home.

Arsenal have us and Liverpool at home, United away.

City have United and Spurs away, Southampton at home.

So basically we all have 3 of those sides left, pretty much seems a level playing field in terms of the "on paper" matches.

He needed to bring Remy on much sooner than he did

Agreed. I would of had Luis too, we were screaming out for more width as we have so little end product on the right hand side.

Turns out 28 games into this campaign and we're only 5 points better off than last season.

You have to take into account the points we've been robbed of as well though

Same sh*t, different day.

Jose's utter inability to defend a one goal lead on a consistent basis is astounding.

How about looking at the actual talent on the pitch? They were shocking, there passing was absolute dross. The managers sends then, there's only so much he can do when the ball is kicked

Yeah agreed, Luis should have come on. I think we really need to drop Ivan, he's leaving far too much space on his side

Amazed we didn't win today. Definitely had the chances ...

Southampton have been extremely fortunate against us, both times ...

Matic looked laboured ...

Rambo ... a good performance, at last! made an instant impact ...

Juan C ... dear oh dear.

To be fair they should have been about 1-3 up at half time so I don't think they were fortunate. However we really should have nicked it with that JT chanf at the end, still don't know how he missed that.

Right, I've had a nice long walk along the river next to my campus and I have taken the time to reflect on that draw.

Our players looked exhausted and running on empty. I feel our starting 11 has been overused and we are reaping the results of too little squad utlisation. How many times have we been ahead by a comfortable margin and not seen early subs? The time has come when our best players have hit bad form and we have few ready and capable of taking their place.

On the other hand, if you had told me at really any point of the season that, 9 games out, we'd be 6 points ahead and with a game in hand on a team in terrible form, I'd have been quite ecstatic. We are going to win this, there's no way we can play any worse from now on and there's no way City are able to win all of their remaining games.

We have work to do next season, though.

I think so too but then you lose that set piece danger and he has scored a few from open play too.

His bombing up the park leaves Cahill in all sorts of trouble though and with Azpi you wouldn't have that.

if ever there's a time to rotate, it's against hull. so if jose is going to do it, we will see evidence very soon. otherwise it will be one or two changes per game.

however, many on here were calling for costa to be dropped because he wasnt scoring/contributing much, and he hit back today with a very good performance and a goal. so maybe sticking by the players is the best way to get them through this difficult patch of form. form is temporary and class is permanent after all

Costa is a different one. Even if he's been poor recently, you know he has it in him to get a goal.

The likes of Willian though. I can count on the fingers of one hand the amount of games he's actually looked worth his price tag. Playing him through a poor run of form won't make him get any better.

Arsenal yesterday brought in Monreal and Chambers at full back but will probably rotate them with Bellerin and Gibbs against Monaco.

Ivanovic and Azpi know they will play every game until the end of the season.

Now Wenger is a twat but I'd love to see a bit more rotation.
