I'm just saying... is it normal??!?!?!?

Everton never actually once equalized in that match, but the rest you are right about and no it isn't normal. Teams shouldn't be equalizing against us this often. We should be going on to dominate games.

Glass half full everyone.

We still have to lose THREE games and draw one for us to lose the title and that requires Arsenal and City winning all of there games.

Unlikely.

Matic one was a penalty, he took the man first, I don't think the Costa was one at all, he went down far too late and it looked like he actually slipped over.

Sky done that and Souness and Hoddle saying Fonte got the ball and Matic didn't.

Hahahahahaa hahahaha f**king clowns!

I got ledley king and some other bloke both saying it's both not pens so my channel > yours.

The complete lack of confidence comes from the state of our play not state of the league table.

I can understand that today the players might have genuinely been tired, so I'll give the players the benefit if the doubt and say they did well. This still leaves us 6 point clear with a game in hand, we have two winnable games coming up. Secure those 6 points and I can't see us not winning the league.

Him, Bertrand, Forster and Clyne are all very good players in my opinion.

I wouldn't take Bertrand or Forster. Bertrand is top half of the table good but not title challenging good. Forster has great games like he did today but for a huge keeper he doesn't command his box nearly well enough. He had the same weakness when he was at Celtic. That is why he will never be a top drawer goalkeeper.

Yeah how many good games have we had since after Swansea? I think the final vs Spurs and that's it?

I understand that but you have to bare in mind that everyone has poor form. If we don't beat Hull then I will agree.

Come on Chels.

When JT lifts the trophy I won't give a f**k if we drew every game til the end of the season for it. I will get drunk and I will party.

Good for you. I'll be glad too but I won't be able to avoid reflecting a little on how with the sum of our parts and the manager we have that we didn't do it with a little style and finesse. I've seen us win it now so I feel that the way you win it becomes more of a factor. That's how I feel anyway.

so you're saying we already won against leicester?

so weve let mata and de bruyne go because willian and oscar are better at defending, and now our defence looks all over the place. that just priceless

We went full out attack and they just hit us on the break, only scoring from a pen. So you get what you want domination wise but now you moan about the defence :S

I agree but ours has gone on for too long, too long to be a blip too. We are playing sh*t at the completely wrong time of the season when teams are desperate for relegation saving points etc.

we were on the ropes for the majority of the first half. we couldnt even get out of our own half

I thought we were pretty good 2nd half.  S'hampton have an excellent defence and with a tad more luck on sevaral occasions we would have been home and dry.

Def' not a pen' by Matic - shot from behind the goal shows him cleary getting the ball.

I personally think Bertrand is good enough for a top 4 side. When he was with us, he never let us down, and now he is at Southampton he is proving how good he is. His defending is excellent and he is decent going forward too, i have never seen him have a game where you can say that he has played poor.

21 points needed assuming City win all of their remaining games.

Sounds like a lot at the moment. Drawing at home to Burnley and Southampton is tough to take. Hopefully a week off will help.

I'd love to see remy and costa play together

Well first of credit to Southampton. As we said before they are a good side and they showed it again today. We could not play through them, and that is all we tried to do.

First half they were better than us, and should have made more of their chances.

Second half we moved the ball around a lot better, but we did not create a lot of clear chances. Everything we did make went straight at their keeper, who was not made to make a single even half decent save all game. That is damning for a side chasing the title and at home.

Bradford removed the fear factor that was Stamford Bridge, sides now see that is a League One side can do what they did, anyone can. I was concerned about that prospect at the time, we need to string some home wins together.

Jose got his subs wrong again sadly, or rather the last two of them. The one bring on Ramires was a help for me, we looked more mobile after that. However that was an early change, he did not offer our last two subs enough time to get in to the game and our momentum got killed. That sub time is normally to waste time not to change a game. How often do we bring a sub on after the 80th minute and he has a positive impact? Cuadrado was pretty awful on my first viewing it has to be said, every touch was poor, every pass was as well.

Cracking ball through that put Oscar in, cannot remember if it was Cesc or Hazard that did it, Oscar must do better than hit it right at the keeper.

Our moment to win it was right at the end though, that corner knocked down by Cahill. Remy is better than hitting it right at the keeper so that was disappointing. Think Jts first effort hit Brana and the second...well he is better than that and he knew he fluffed our last chance of a winner there.

Overall another game we failed to win at home. Our home form really is poor at the moment. I have no idea why we stopped crossing the ball when a good cross is the only reason we scored today.

Defense was a mess first half, a bit better second. Tibo played well, as did Azpi, JT and Cahill was better in the second half. Matic was rusty, Cesc needs to do better. Willian ineffective, Oscar poor, Costa poor first touch far too often.

Most disappointing for me was how poor Hazard was. In no way is the form of recent what we expect from a player like him. Gave the ball away often, ran into blind areas and lost out and had no end product.

We should have killed this title race games ago, these 4 points alone against Burnley and Saints would have us 10 clear with a game in hand, that would be game over.

If we do not improve our home form we risk drawing City back in, as well as offering encouragement to other sides like Arsenal.

The complete lack of confidence comes from the state of our play not state of the league table.

Complete lack of confidence? Speak for yourself.

We'll probably drop more points down the line. But so will everyone else. Have a bit of belief. No team dominates weekly in the EPL.
