I don't think there's a manager in the world that could do much with that Utd squad. It's dreadful.

If you'd given £300m to Jose, Pep, Klopp, Wenger to invest in that squad I think it would be in much better shape.

Although Wenger would probably only spend 1/10 of the available budget.

Yeah the squad at United is terrible but LVG brought in a good number of rank average players and sold others like Welbeck which looks daft now.

Surprised United have left it as long with LVG because they look in real danger of not getting top 4 which would be another blow to them. You would think bringing in Jose early would give them the push to get a decent finish to the season.

Either way it's going to cost a few hundred million to get them back to that level, that's not hard for United to do really as money is no object with their revenue streams.

Someone should televise football without commentary. It's 99% stating the obvious:

'A throw in to United'

'Van Gaal looks concerned' etc. Pointless.

I don't really have a problem with City, they've had humbling experiences in the past few seasons. Paris, meh, I think City are going to cave their faces in and that will bring them crashing back to earth. All it will take is for City to get two goals in Paris, which they are capable of doing, and that is going to make them panic.

I think it will be dependant on Kompany being fit.

Will be a close game but maybe PSG edging it because they can rest players while City need points badly.

Mh, don't think so. Swap Bayern München for Wolfsburg and nobody would say/think anything.

Looks like the semi's will be Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Barca but the PSG v City is too close to call.

If City have everyone fit and are up for it, they can knock PSG out but if KDB and Kompany are out and Yaya can't be arsed on the night, then PSG could take them to the cleaners.

 

Some good games though and won't have to get all nervous watching any of them.
