Watching Juventus put in that performance against Bayern even though it's gone to ET makes Arsenal's bending over for Barca even more embarrassing, What has happened to our clubs in Europe? Look at Juve, They stood up to Bayern and went toe to toe, We're happy with not getting a pasting.

Juve fcuked it...sat deeper and deeper and stopped playing...Allegri taking morata and Cuadrado off? Evra trying to dribble out of his own area in injury time, loses it, in no position to block cross for the equaliser...

As for bt's choice of former Bayern midfielder Owen Hargreaves as co-commentator...what bollox...went to see all his chums before the match and continued to be so one-sided, it was ridiculous

Agreed, Allegri had the option of bringing on Rugani and going to a back 3 for the final 15 mins but instead took off Khedira for Sturaro and Cuadrado for Pereyra (a natural AM) - time will tell but seems we made the right choice appointing Conte instead of Allegri

What's even worse about BT sport is Rio and Scholes as analysts, Mcmanaman as commentator who s-lags off every non Scouse Premier League team/Player and Robbie Savage who starts moaning about the quality of a game if it's not 3-2 after 15 minutes because he gets bored, They are all an annoying bunch of twits.

Can't stand Guardiola the fraud, but good result for England's coefficient...should keep four places in CL next season now and chelsea need every chance they can get to get back in CL season after next

How is he a fraud?

How is he a fraud?

Took over great barca side, with best player in the world, lauded a genius...takes over Bayern side that has just won treble, lauded a genius...not saying he is a dummy, but for someone who is hailed as best coach in the world, he has yet to prove it a club where he is being put to the test in every respect...next season will be the first time, but even then he will take over the best squad in pl and have money to improve it

Can't believe Juve through that away! Livid

Tell me about it!   I checked my phone in the pub - Juve 2-1 and it said 90th minute so I thought it was the final score. Only just found out that Bayern equalised in the final minute and won in extra time. Boooooooooo!

And re Cuadrado - when I saw him v Inter I didn't recognise him as the player who played (well that's overstating it) for us.  I'm not saying he was brilliant, but he did actually look like a professional footballer.

How on earth can anyone pay attention to anything Roy Keane is saying when he has that beard?  I am just totally transfixed by it's two tone-ness

Playing against Bayern is difficult enough, without one of your own player on-loan coming off the bench to score the extra goal. What they hell were they thinking sending out Coman on loan to Bayern?

I still can't grow a proper beard at my late stage in life, let alone a multi coloured one !

Some of the quality on display in the Champions League this week should hopefully serve as a wake up call to English teams that despite all the money being thrown at the Premier League, we seem to be falling further and further behind the best European teams.

Agree with Kink.

The Barca side he took over was terrible and don't forget he got rid of the likes of Eto'o, Henry, Ibrahimovic to fit Messi in, what a decision that turned out to be.

He's not been great for Bayern but his subs won the game for them.

Err Messi had been around for a few years already by that point...rijkaard had won the champions league with barca just two years before Guardiola took over...sure they'd had a couple of dodgy seasons by their standards in terms of silverware, but they reached CL self-final the season before pep took over and most of the players were used the following season when he won silverware...making out barca were crap and pep was some kind of messiah when he took the reigns, would be like making out Zidane is a genius if he wins the CL with Ronaldo and bale in the team this season
