I think if you look at us from 2006-2009 some of the same questions would have been on our squad (although I do believe those Chelsea sides were better than the City sides). I can see the City old guard really getting up for one more season. Nothing creates the hunger like losing the title, seems City have a one season win, one season lose thing going on. I think they'll be hungry for the title this season.

Does anyone else think it's a shame (not only because it's at the wrong time for us) that a possible decider of the campaign occurs in the second week of the season? I think it really should have been at least match day 8/9 into the season when teams begin to hit the ground running to make the best spectacle possible. I get that it's supposed to be random and all that, just seems a shame.

Ranieri was quite a looker, but Brenda looks like an American cheerleader from the Eighties...!

so shaqiri went from highly touted young player to winning treble with bayern to being dumped by inter to stoke
