The manager wants us to play a high energy game. Problem is, even though the team is fit, they are not robots and it's a lot to expect 90 minutes of maximum tempo. 1 point from a possible 6 is a poor start but it might have been none.

Yedlin's still not part of Poch's short term plans it seems :-(

Not sure if you watched Yedlin this summer, but the Best play from the Yanks this summer happened when Yedlin was on the pitch. Also he wasn't deployed as a RB, but as a winger. Checkout the match between USA vs Holland. There is an excellent example of how Yedlin should be played. Again I will submit the cry of Free DeAndre!!!

What do you think of Mason? Ive not been impressed whenever I've seen him. He looks like a poorer version of mark noble! If he was foreign, I don't think he would be near your first team.

I tend to agree. He's in the right place a lot of the time but lacking the finish or the reading of the game to play others in.
