Their starting XI as a whole is worse than ours. And they're just about sell one of the better contributors in Dzeko. Anyone suggesting we are not favourites to win the league needs a proper examination of their faculties.

3 points would of been nice but the draw was fair. I'm not too worried about todays performance, there will be a reaction next week im sure.  Shame courtoise will be suspended but again we possibly have the best back up goalkeeper in the league, begovic is as good as anybody.  From the 80th minute onwards we looked like the title winning side of last season, our quality was beginning to show. It's also nice to see costa start sprinting again too. Oscar dare I say it after a proper preseason looks very promising, he was our best midfielder today possibly our best player. Roll on man city

I thought Montero today was excellent, a throwback to wingers of the past. Ivan has taken some flak but this lad had the beating of him and we failed to respond to it. I loved the way he got to the byline and delivered the cross,no phaffing around the ball was put in a dangerous area and Gomes was asked to do the rest.

JM has never had a successful 3rd season with any club his managed. The signs are already there. Today's result will be a regular theme this season.

The Charity shield in my opinion was clear intention of Arsenal team and motives now. Hazard was embarrassing and was the same today. Like many sorry I tip Arsenal for the league this season.
