Willian has been absolutely dire.

He's been an absolute liability in possession. He's given the ball away far too much and far too cheaply, a complete hindrance.

Wouldn't say no to him going off for Falcao or Remy and us going two up top to try and force the issue a bit more in the second half.

1st half summary so far:

- Superb Begovic

- Poor defending

- Diego Costa is back

 

Really need improvement in the 2nd half

Exciting to see what Mou will do in the 2nd half

Don't even think City have played as well as they can and yet they have still better than us.

Hazard still looking like he's playing in a park on a Sunday, but hey at least he scored that wondergoal against Barca B and Fabregas looks like he has given up on life. What a terrible half.

Starting pre season late and being poor in the transfer market is looking more and more foolish, we just look nothing like the same team as last season. Our approach to this season has made no sense.

How can we be so disorganised under one of the most organised manager? sh*t half but City could be 3 up. We have zero shots. We are not gong to win this.

No one's knee jerking. We've been awful and it can't simply be put down to fitness. We go out with this slow, lethargic and meek style of play far too often. Sick of seeing us not use the players at our disposal to their maximum potential.

The majority of us were worried that is could happen, sadly so far the Jose master class is not on show.

If it remains this way being 5 behind United, city and potentially Liverpool is an awful start to our season, and the worry we had about little squad investment over the summer so far look well founded.

On the plus side we might get some signings finally done 

We will be better in the second half as usual.

I am glad these guys are okay. I have a faith in our players. Begovic's been doing really well. He's keeping us in the game. 

Costa is currently putting on his Rambo gear and grabbing a big machine-gun.

I hate being that guy, but we have to spend.

No fluidity in attack, slow in defence.

Unfortunately i think our play is reflecting our managers mood. Moody and disjointed.

Begovic been okay, Azpi as well.

In 135 mins of football this season we have had only 3 shots on target 

 

Simply not good enough

Lack of clear game plan and philosophy.

 

Normally a lot deeper with the game in front of us. Were not making the most of good possession, and situations. No brightness or ideas, bar Hazard. Not testing Kolarov defensively.

I know this argument has been done to death on the forum but show me another player that plays in attack for a side the constantly challenges for titles who influences games as little as Willian does.

Work rate, second assist etc and all that w**k but players in his role should be scoring and assisting a lot. He once again goes missing when you're looking at someone other than Hazard influencing a game.

We're told in the middle is his beat position but I'm sorry but today he has shown exactly why that isn't true.

All the pundits including Henry agree it should have been a red for Fernandinho

For me, there's only been 5 outfield players that have actually shown up for the start of this season.

Azpi, Matic, Willian, Hazard and Oscar, who was the best of the bunch last week.
