I like the improvement of Matic and Willian, they both are excellent. I like the way Willian starting to shoot, we all know that he's not scorer but one of his shot will hit the target.

I think we should be shooting less! At least 3 times in that half we took shots from 30 odd yards when it would have been better to go out wide, or keep possesion and work an opening.

We need to work harder off the ball when we are attacking, and start making the right decisions in the final 3rd.

Crystal Palace are playing smart while they beginning their counter attacks, they immediately switching side to Ivanovic's side. If we will take the lead, I think we will have to put Mikel into the game to help Ivanovic due to his poor form.

We are looking better especially 5 mins before the end of the first half. We really need to take our chances and we are lacking finishing. Ivanovic seems solid but he is still slow and he needs to track back quick, and if he can't then just don't go forward at all. Good defending by Crystal Palace so far. Matic finally started to play as well as Fabregas and William. Pedro doing good so far and Hazard still needs to set up because he is taking so long with the ball and trying to make a decision. Costa need to focus more on goal and complaining on all the fouls but he looks good regardless.

Probably wishful thinking because he doesn't do much going forward from the RW. Willian just isn't a very good attacking player.

This has just been pathetic, they dont seem to be playing well as a team even, when we get to the final third just past it back and forth one side of the pitch to the other. Willians strikes just go wildly off into the stands, anywhere but at the goal. Just doesnt feel like a coordinated attack at all.

Hazard needs to lift his game, just been walking through the first half, probably the worst of the attacking midfielders. Willian is consistent as ever, just never have that great final touch, either shot or pass. The right hand defence remains the main weakness, I felt everything they threw at us was on our right hand side. We just need to play with a bit more urgency, first half was just way too flat, apart from few good moments in the last 5

And that foul on Zouma is a clear penalty. Any chance Zouma had of getting his head on the ball was taking away from him because Wickham pulled him down. Anywhere else on the pitch and it's a foul.

Very disappointing.  Chelsea doesn't seem to have a plan B other than possession and try to pass through the teeth of Palace's defense.

I think Pedro is the perfect example of what we should be aiming for. With him in the team, we actually look like we can do something from the right side. 

 

If we really want to be one of the top 3 teams in the world, we need to be going for better quality. In my opinion, we need another world class CM. Javi Martinez? Guardiola wastes the guy playing in defence anyway.

 

We also need a world class AM. Oscar or Willian (lol) arent cutting it. We need someone that is going to scare the opposition. Someone as good as Silva. Maybe Isco?

 

And long term we need a world class CB as well. Laporte or Varane maybe?

He gave only one good ball to Costa this half, huge difference between his form last year and current one. He doesn't really support the attack and not the defence.

Did Ivanovic inherit Torres's seat on the team bus or something? It's unbelievable how bad he's become in such a short space of time.

He's nearly as bad as Conor Wickham who is absolutely robbing Palace, can't believe that he actually gets paid to play football.

That being said he'll probably score now i've said that.

Yeah, Costa was free, but Willian lacks the vision and decision making in the final third. I think we should have Fabregas and Willian swap positions.
