September 1, 201510 yr Have we loaned Hector back to Reading already? This is getting weird. Edited September 1, 201510 yr by Socrates
September 1, 201510 yr He does have potential to be a very good Premier League defender but I feel like he is skipping a stepping stone by going to Chelsea. I can only assume he'll be either loaned back to us or to another Premier League side to get some experience before having a go at the first team with you (I hope). I can't imagine this is a first team signing.
September 1, 201510 yr I know a Reading fan and his words to me when I asked about him were "Utterly bizarre signing for Chelsea."
September 1, 201510 yr See him a couple times last season and he looked quite tidy and commanding but that a massive leap to where we should be right?! Would much rather have seen one of our academy/loanees brought back, As mentioned why the f**k do we have a multi million quid academy if we never try to promote from within? and If the argument is that we need experienced heads surely there needs to be a certain quality to them? Well i'll take the young un's over the two coming in! f**king Random signings...
September 1, 201510 yr Won't believe a word of this until it's on our official webstie. I still will find it hard to believe it then.

September 1, 201510 yr I wish we would stop pretendibg we want to integrate youth players. This was the perfect chance at giving someone like Christensen some quality minutes as 4th choice while training with the first team. Instead we ship him out to sit on the bench in Germany and buy some nobody from the second league France and a career loanee from the Championship
September 1, 201510 yr Telegraph reporting he's gone straight back to Reading on loan. I think Emenalo is trying to look like he's doing something. Anything.
September 1, 201510 yr He's our 3rd choice centre back behind McShane and Ferdinand at the moment....He's tall, strong, but has a mistake in him. I'll be gutted to see him go for Reading's sake, but I can't see why Chelsea are signing him... Go on, you're really selling this Geezer to me. Anything you missed? Drug problems? Discipline issues? Got banned for 50 games for killings small ball boy last seasons. What the actual f**k is going on! I woke up to some kind of horrible nightmare. I guess we are getting a team ready for when we finish mistable this season.
September 1, 201510 yr Telegraph reporting he's gone straight back to Reading on loan. I think Emenalo is trying to look like he's doing something. Anything. lol. What the f**k is the point. Pay Reading 4m for no reason basically.
September 1, 201510 yr considering you're more knowledgable on the championship than we are; how would he compare to omerou and kalas? Hard to say for sure as I am not familiar with Omeruo and Kalas was injured and didn't have a full season.
September 1, 201510 yr Not sure who has had the most embarrassing transfer window...us, Utd or Arsenal.....very poor and disappointing for the defending champions; these two are surely just stop gaps until we get Stones. The Academy players must be shaking their heads more than those in the Utd Academy at the moment.
September 1, 201510 yr lol. What the f**k is the point. Pay Reading 4m for no reason basically. So they can pay the wages to Piazon....it's all smoke and mirrors awaiting for the real deal coming up in the next few hours..........................................not
September 1, 201510 yr I was just about to post that the underlying narrative behind this transfer may be to provide competition for Zouma/Cahill/JT, but if he's just being loaned back to Reading there goes that theory. Bemused and baffled. Edited September 1, 201510 yr by the special one
September 1, 201510 yr I feel like these transfers are just a cover up for a big transfer coming up. Classic Mourinho technique.
September 1, 201510 yr Getting that deja vu sensation of back when we signed Sidwell and Ben Haim. Exactly this. Pointless cheap buys who have clearly no use to us in terms of the first team. Seems a joke but a cruel one for us fans.
September 1, 201510 yr Someone ought to explain to Michael Emenalo that FFP is dead and we don't have to do these kind of deals anymore.

The Academy players must be shaking their heads more than those in the Utd Academy at the moment. Arsenal I get, they haven't signed a single outfield player, but United? They signed Schweinsteiger(£14.4m), Schneiderlin(£25m), Darmian (£12.7m), Depay(£21m) and now Martial (£36m). Edited September 1, 201510 yr by abramovich
September 1, 201510 yr I might put my boots on and go have a kick around in the park, at this rate I have a good chance of getting signed too.
September 1, 201510 yr Truly, truly bizarre and I cannot begin to imagine what is going on behind the scenes. Only 48 hours ago jose was on record as saying that if players arent good enough, then they will be dropped. However, there is absolutely no chance that a senior squad member is going to be dropped for either Papa Bollocksjido or old hector spectre - principally because one can only assume that the latter will be going out on loan, whilst the other sits on the bench looking confused at what is going on. Weird. Jose has made thinly veiled swipes at the board in the press regards transfer policy and i'm now getting increasingly worried that there is real trouble behind the scenes. what the f**k is going on?
