Chelsea vs. Maccabi Tel-Aviv (CL) 16/09/15 KO 19:45 BST

We need to come out firing and see some passion for the jersey! I don't care how we win this but we just need some confidence which is severely lacking at the moment.

Our season begins from this match!

Time to bring in some youngsters ?

i would be really surprised if baba rahman gets a chance considering he cant even got on the bench. Kennedy is garbage. RLC id like to see start for fabregas. We'd certainly be more solid in defence, and we wouldnt lose any creativity from fabregas because you cant lose what you dont have.

We must win this game, we should start CL with the right leg.

I'd like to see this XI:

Begovic

Ola Aina (If Baba still not ready)

Zouma

Terry

Azpi

RLC

Matic

Pedro

Bertrand Traore

Hazard

Remy

Champions League already? A welcome distraction from our struggle with relegation.

We're so off form that this is a good excuse to try something different. Maybe Azpi at right back?

Bit radical I know. But it might work. As long as Jose doesn't decide to play Ivanovic at centre-back.

That would really be taking the piss.

Personally I enjoy his stance on civil rights.

Do you seriously want Dick Nixon to win? Or George Wallace??

Get Trump on the pitch, he has the retro comb-over.

My God, give it a rest. He's a young kid, he's not even fully developed, he looked good on his debut.

even for a 19 yr old his ball control isnt good enough. he will fade into obsurity by the next 2-3 years.

"we should play and develop young players more often"

30 minutes of play

"he's a garbage nobody"

Your basing that on one performance as a substitute? Whereas a couple of weeks back he looked very good. Mourinho has obviously kept him in the squad for a reason. Traore must be sh*t then, if Kenedy is on the bench ahead of him.

I'm basing that on his every performance for chelsea.

mourinho has kept plenty of sh*t players over the years, its nothing new

id say you will remember my words in a few years time, but you will forget kenedy soon let alone this discussion

He's put in one bad performance, from the substitutes bench, you're now denying that he looked good against Palace? If Ranieri had used your logic, Lampard would have lasted one season. Let's not judge him yet, give the kid more time, let's wait until he's actually started a few games first. He can't be that bad, or he wouldn't be keeping people out of the squad.

i realize that making logical conclusions, based on empirical evidence looks supernatural to you.

i'm just wondering, once its obvious to anyone that kenedy wont amount to nothing more than being a mediocre player, will you consider me superhuman? am i going to be your god then?

Difficult to judge how the squad selection will be approached on what SHOULD BE the easiest of the six CL Group fixtures, but that almost increases the pressure given the surrounding circumstances...

Under 'normal' circumstances, taking into account another big Premier League game next weekend, I would expect something like:

Begovic, Azpilicueta, Cahill, Zouma, Ivanovic, Matic, RLC, Hazard, Willian, Traore, Falcao

As to what will actually happen...Christ knows. >_>

Traore is likely injured from international duty I believe.

With the state our defence is in are we seeing the end of jt as a regular first team starter?

If Jose shakes the team up a bit we will win this 2-1 ... which I'd be very happy with.

However, I suspect Jose will then immediately revert back to his same, fav 11 for the Arsenal game ...

This is why we cant develop young players. 19 year old has a bad cameo and hes rubbish. What do these people think goes into developing young players?

Im taking a few days off from this nonsense.

Hopefully Oscar is back for this one, could do with him playing to regain match fitness.

Would like to see RLC given a chance, this is the type of fixture we should be looking to use to aid his development.

A debut for Baba would be welcomed too.

If you watched him against Palace and thought he was garbage then you're a complete idiot.
