September 16, 201510 yr He is definitely eligible. But if realistically only one of he and Traore are going to get a chance to come off the bench, seems fair that Traore get a turn next. Chelsea subs: Blackman, Terry, Ivanovic, Ramires, Matic, Traore, Diego Costa. No Kenedy on the bench. Realistically the only subs that we will use bar any injuries are Matic, Ramires, Traore and Costa. Expect Traore to debut for Chelsea.
September 16, 201510 yr So, what formation is that then ? hopefully 4-3-3. It also looks like RLC is the holding midfielder, i'm not sure i like that, i don't see him as a holding midfielder and i don't want him to be turned into one either. I'm happy that Rahman and Remy are starting, I'm glad Oscar is back too. it's a shame Pedro is injured and i would have stuck with Terry to be honest. I have the same fears for rlc. I think one the most exciting parts of his game, is his ability to drive through midfield, but I can't see him getting the chance to do that next fabregas. Very happy with the team though and it's good rlc is getting a meaningful start. He's in a very unique position in the abramovic era, he seems to the backing of a manager that is fairly stable in his job, and the international stars in his way are seriously struggling for form.
September 16, 201510 yr I feel for RLC a bit to be honest, Fabregas has been a shadow of his early last season form and Matic has been struggling next to him (my gut feeling being he has to cover for him too much) the boy will have a lot of work to do. Oscar to carry us through this one I reckon.
September 16, 201510 yr Nice to see Avram Grant again. Apparently he was the one that suggested Rahman to Mourinho. And Grant is now the coach of Ghana, so I guess he's watching his protegee... BTW: Don't think Oscar has a full 90 mins in him. But no real replacement for him on the bench except for maybe Bertrand Traore (unless Fabregas gets pushed forward to an AM position).
September 16, 201510 yr The Guardian also reporting that Ivanovic, Terry, Matic and Costa are all set to be rested tonight. Based on the reports I think we might be seeing something like this as a starting line up Begovic Dave - Cahill - Zouma - Baba Fabregas - RLC Willian - Oscar - Hazard Remy Freshens things up a bit, I'll be happy if we see something like that. I'd imagine that with Oscar just coming back from injury he's likely to only play an hour so Kenedy will probably get a run out for the final 30 minutes as well. You called it, spot on!
September 16, 201510 yr Finally Jose makes changes! He only had to drop Fabregas. COME ON CHELS!!!!!!
September 16, 201510 yr This will be the game that kick starts the season!! 4-0 my prediction, 2 tap ins for remy, 1 penalty for hazard and 1 belter for oscar.

Gave a very vague answer when asked about him in the studio but seems certain he will succeed here.
September 16, 201510 yr Maccabi has two Ben Haims in the starting eleven!I don't think the amount of benhaims is healthy for Maccabi. They need to watch their diet.
September 16, 201510 yr Chelsea team tonight: Begovic; Azpilicueta, Zouma, Cahill ©, Baba Rahman; Loftus-Cheek, Fabregas; Willian, Oscar, Hazard; Remy. #CFC Pretty much exactly what we were all asking for then, lets hope we knew our stuff before jose did...or not, double edged sword.
