Gotta love the Internet.

In this thread, our squad is the dogs' bollocks and KdB is a giant waste of money.

Scroll to a thread from 48 hours ago and our squad, including everyone from Hazard to Mourinho to the team doctor and the tea lady were f**king useless.

Kdb didn't get in our team coz he was a silly little boy who got to big for his boots. He shud have listened to Jose and go on with his work instead, he thought he was best player at Chelsea and thought he shud play every week. We got rid and made a decent profit on him.

He wanted to leave because he wasn't even getting on our bench. Football is a short career and when you are as good as him you should be playing not sitting in the stands. He did the right thing.

He is just generally a better footballer, more intelligent and will score more goals get more assists and create more chances. I seen KDB make some lovely passes yesterday in just that 1 game passes that i have never seen Oscar do for us in 3 years.

No hes not, no hes not, no he wont, no he wont, no he wont.

What would happen then if every good player who's 18.19 or 20 didnt want to fight for a place? He was under Jose and should have given it a season or 2. If he was that good then Jose would have seen it in training etc. fact is he got to big for his boots

Spot on

From Sturridge to Lukaku to De Brunye ugh!

3 players with a lot of talent but, ultimately lacked the desire to play for Chelsea nor have the patients to see it though.

To be fair to sturridge it was benitez who got him sold to Liverpool, a favour to his old team.

The other two sound like they talked to Jose, we're told they had to battle for a place and need to show patients, and said *bu**Er that I am off*.

Not meant to be, we made money on them all.

As zouma has shown even a 12mill player (around the price of lukaku and a couple of mill more than kdb) can force his way in to the team if you work hard for it and want it.

Now we want to see rlc, traore and kenedy do the same.

I won't get into who's better etc. De bruyne is a fantastic player. If he had been brought in fir big money he would have had more opportunities than he did.

However he isn't worth the money city payed, but there really isn't a great deal of talent at his level available, so I can understand why they paid what they did.

Sometimes things just don't work out, we still have or can get enough quality players to achieve our goals.

It's an interesting debate. He certainly suits City far more than us. In my view most players have less freedom of movement because Jose demands first that we can cover the transition if we lose the ball. City seem to care less about that and allow a bit more freedom.

In my view Jose demands a standard. That standard is the foundation of our success. If De Bruyne couldn't meet that then it was better we let him move on where he can play his best football and we find a player who can fit into Joses tactics.

Once again.

But that's no problem.

Why do you write about demanding a standard and KDB who couldn't meet that, Spiller86?

Have you seen that?

Have you read that?

Has Mr. Mourinho told you that?

Do you have a source?

Is it just a guess?

Guarantee KDB has a better season than Oscar even if KDB plays out wide which isn't his natural position. I actually can't believe KDB being a better footballer than Oscar is even a debate. One looks comfortable and elegant on the ball the other looks scruffy and untidy when on the ball.

I find it fascinating that a player who has played a total of 9 games for Chelsea could accumulate so much discussion in the last few years on many Chelsea forums I've read over the years. I suppose a lot of this stems from many Belgians who almost treat KDB as some kind of god-like figure. They do refer to him as the 'Ginger Pele' after all.

Like Lukaku, KDB had talent that could have been fulfilled with hard work, desire and the patience to break into the first team but his poor attitude and ego and most importantly poor form didn't warrant him a regular starting place in the 2013-2014 season. I don't think either party is that dissatisfied that he ended up leaving.

He may very well be a great player for Manchester City but he was immature during his time with us and I think we made the right move selling him to Wolfsburg. Even if KDB is a star I'm sure we'll already have great players who play just like him in our disposal anyway.

He did fight for his place for 6 months but he wasn't even getting on the bench. Best player in pre-season, MOTM on his debut, decent game away to Utd then he got vanished. Christ players like Salah and Cuadrado got more opportunities than that and KDB is miles better than those two. Its not like KDB is a huge Chelsea fan or playing for Chelsea is the pinnacle of football why should he waste 2 years of his career sitting on the bench?.

And of the two, which has scored the most goals - the elegant one, or the scruffy one?

I agree he should have had more of a chance, but every manager makes the odd mistake with their squad, Ferguson let Pogba and Pique go and Wenger had Ronaldo and countless others snatched out from under his nose. Annoying to be sure but we still have a very good squad who when on song can go toe to toe with City and beat them.

This season? no idea Oscar been injured and KDB only played 2 games for city but he has already scored.

Sorry, but KDB is better than Oscar and Willian. People try to underrate him because Jose said that he wasn't good enough but guess what, Jose CAN be wrong and he was on this occasion.

He may be better where he is, we'll have to see how the season goes, but he wasn't better than them when with us.

KRC i acknowledge your affection for De Bruyne but it's hardly outlandish to suggest that he didn't meet Jose's standard.

Here's an example of Jose commenting on him post a League Cup tie: Mourinho had criticised de Bruyne for his performance last Tuesday. Asked if he was pleased with what he saw, Mourinho replied: “not so much.

“The next time Kevin is on the pitch, he has to think he’s playing for his next appearance. At Werder Bremen [on loan last season] he played every game. Here he’s not playing every game. In Bremen he didn’t need to prove himself so much. This is a different reality. He’s competing against very good players, so every minute he’s on the pitch he has to work really hard.”

No criticism of the player he just didn't suit Mourinho Chelsea. Same as Mata probably didn't for the same reasons.

Not just this season - throughout their respective careers.  I don't understand how you can have such a dogmatic opinion on their respective qualities, if you have no idea how many times each has scored.

As of today no one can say either way. At the end of the season, if all players stay fit we will have a better sample.

As a team we have looked much better with Oscar in the first 11 then not.

The only thing we have is Jose's assertion that KDB was a little crying batch.. And actually KDB is a round about way has pretty much confirmed this.

As I say, let's make the call at the end of the year
