October 4, 201510 yr So you think it's a coincidence that the fracas with Eva coincides with such poor form?Blame the medic instead of the man in charge. That's the typical Mourinho diehard supporter.
October 4, 201510 yr Blame the medic instead of the man in charge. That's the typical Mourinho diehard supporter. Answer the question please. Do you think it's a coincidence? Yes or no?
October 4, 201510 yr I will never be able to comprehend how last year's team turned into this mess... Seriously, it defies any kind of logic.
October 4, 201510 yr Here's a replay of the game for those who couldn't catch it. Chelsea vs Southampton - 3 Oct 2015 1st Half: http://my.mail.ru/mail/football.video/video/_myvideo/2302.html 2nd Half: http://my.mail.ru/mail/football.video/video/_myvideo/2303.html (Warning: Parental guidance is advised for the above horror content)
October 4, 201510 yr Again, why all the hate for Falcao? It's players like Brana, Cezc and Hazard that have been poor. Even Diego isn't scoring much this season, so it's quite clear we are lacking in the creativity department, nothing Falcao can do about that. Hear hear. Mourinho needs to forget about his loyalty to last year's champs (though admirable) and start giving other members of the squad a chance.I tell you one thing I'm over,is the whole 'Jose sees all the players in training' crap that is pushed on all the sites by fanboys trying to justify his team selections.

I think we can all agree Mourinho doesn't always know who his best players are after pushing out Lukaku, de Bruyne and Mata, while this season loaning out Victor Moses...
October 4, 201510 yr Surely Jose can see it now. If he plays Ivan & Cesc next game and doesn't introduce some of the youngsters / his non favourites, he's lost the plot.
October 4, 201510 yr I hate to say this but we looked like s team that deliberately threw the game. There can't be any other explanation for the Champions to be so inept the season after winning the title at a canter. Something is seriously wrong at our club, it needs to be sorted out soon. The crowd were brilliant yesterday at 1-3 down and got right behind the team, the substitutions got s load of stick, but otherwise the team got good support. Some of the football we played was so poor it was laughable, what has happened to us ?
October 4, 201510 yr I can't believe we threw the game. We lost our one v one battles all over the pitch. Pelle owned Cahill, Tadic and Mane made a fool of Ivan. Cesc was MIA as usual. Hazard is still worried that he got Eva sacked. Matic is suffering from post-traumatic stress. Falcao and Pedro can't believe what they've joined. The team (if we can call it a team at this stage) is full of vulnerable individuals who can't cope and haven't the leadership qualities to sort it out. For me, only Begovic and Dave came off the pitch with any credit. Time to play the new guys, just a question of how radical the surgery will be. The first one I'd drop is Cesc. He's giving us nothing and leaving the defence hopelessly exposed. If we could try 4-3-3 I would stick Mikel, Ramires and RLC in midfield and try to shore things up. We could be radical with 3 up front and try Kenedy, Costa and Pedro. And of course at the back we could ditch Ivan and go Rahman, JT/Cahill, Zouma and Dave at RB. Having written that I've just realised that I've ditched the Brazilians, Oscar, Ramires and Willian as well as Hazard. Maybe that's wrong, maybe it's right as our attacking play has also been woeful.
October 4, 201510 yr I think we can all agree Mourinho doesn't always know who his best players are after pushing out Lukaku, de Bruyne and Mata, while this season loaning out Victor Moses... De bruyne was awesome against newcastle yesterday! When he was selling promising talents like de bruyne, lukaku and our best player mata it hurt, but we were doing well at the time so it was ok. Now we desparately need more quality in depth and we don't have it. These sales have bit mourinho on the arse. If he just rotated more he would be able to keep more than just 11 top players happy and would have a lot more options for when there are form or injury problems. I have totally lost respect for this man, look at his CV, every stint at any club is the same, 2-3 good seasons then it turns to sh#t and he leaves. He has hit his expiry date, and with the way he talks in his intrerviews he knows it, he wants out, just would rather get fired than quit. This is not just a bad run of form, this is a full melt down that mourinho cant turn around. He has dug himself a hole he can't get out of, the man has given up. The sooner he gets his p45 and we move to re-build the better.

The 3 brazilians are actually ok at the moment. Willian has been our best player, azpi has been good, ramires and oscar ok and zouma ok. Our main culprites have been, ivan, cahill, terry, matic and fabregas. I would also say costa and hazard, but they haven't been terrible they have just been a mile off what they were last year. Falcao and pedro haven't been great, but they deserve more credit because they have just joined this mess. For me though, the most at fault by a mile is the manager.
October 4, 201510 yr I know its harsh and provocative to say we threw it ,but how have we gone from Champions to crap in a matter of months? Was it the ludicrous globe hopping straight after winning the title? Is there something going on behind the scenes? Truthfully I am baffled at such a dramatic downturn in the team.
October 4, 201510 yr Dont knw till nw why de bruyne was kicked out by jose... We will get behind the team no matter what. I hope that mourinho will get his head straight and drop iva, fabrigas and hazard and give the youth a chance.

I think what we can say is that Jose has relied on "finished product" players everywhere he has been (although I'm not sure that's true of Porto). He hasn't got a record of being able to introduce young players and continually refresh a side like Alex Ferguson did for years. I thought though that when he came back, that was the test he accepted himself. His own comments were about building a new team, a new dynasty - so he either faces up to the change that is necessary right now or he gives up on that project. He has a dilemma. I'm sure that week in week out he has been expecting things to click, for the individual errors to disappear and for the solidity of last season to return - it hasn't. But he knows that if he drops Ivan, Cesc, Hazard etc.. - effectively our club's "household names" and the new team doesn't get off to a good start then he is up against it. He can only do that with Roman's backing. The next 2 or 3 weeks will tell us how this will end. Either Jose will be gone or we will put our feet on a road to a revamped first XI.

October 4, 201510 yr As Einstein said, 'Insanity is doing the same things again and again and expecting a different result'. We're so restricted by a right footed left back, it can never be a long term solution and yet transfer windows passed by without Jose addressing the issue. If Baba's signing was supposed to be the solution then why not play him? And if wasn't even ready to start a game when we're so sh*t, why couldnt he buy someone more qualified, more ready? Jose is stubborn and the more media and fans tell him to try something new, the more he insists on doing the same over and over so that when one day it clicks, he can say he knows best. But at the moment, his stubbornness is costing us dearly. Edited October 4, 201510 yr by rahul
October 4, 201510 yr The team was a total shambles yesterday and yet again individual mistakes cost us the game. Fabregas didn't track Davis for the first after the knock down, JT's obvious mistake for the second and Hazard giving the ball away for their third then in trying to get back just ball watching instead of picking up Pelle running to his right. The defence was just totally embarrassed. Ivan & Cahill looked like total mugs. It's unbelievable to watch this at the moment. We first have to stop leaking goals. This is where Mourinho is normally so strong. The midfield has to be strengthened. We are being completely overrun game after game. Fabregas is offering nothing. We are all in agreement over Ivan. I'm afraid his time has come just like all great players. He needs to go down the pecking order and Dave needs to take his place. Baba needs to come in on the left because he can't be any worse than Ivan at the moment. Put Zouma next to JT. Bring in RLC and put Mikel in the middle with either Ramires or Oscar. Willian, Costa and Hazard to complete the 11 in a 433. Our work rate has dropped. We are not pressing and our confidence has dropped. Whether Jose can turn this around or whether he is even given the chance to remains to be seen.
October 4, 201510 yr All the people mentioning how Jose has never brought young players through and is reliant on finished artical type players, have you looked back on our Roman years and seen how many managers have integrated the youth players while keeping us challnging and keeping their Jobs? And other arguments including the players that have been brought in that he has not given a lot of chances to and let go again, If he isn't picking them out as targets to play in the style and system he wants us to play, they are not likely to get game time, he looks at them, gives them a couple of chances while already knowing they're not the players he wanted and tries to get them to play his way, when they show signs they can't or wont he lets them know or doesn't play them. I still stand by my feeling that even with a limited transfer pot, If the club purely went after players Jose identified, we'd be in a far better position with players on the edge of the first team that Jose trusted to come in and do the job he asks if anyone is struggling with form or fitness. Leaders are in short supply in our squad as well and I'm sure Jose realises that (as proven by his bringing Drogba back last season). I hope he's had the discussion with Roman and feel sure he has) and hope Roman now sees what happens wen somebody else chooses our transfer targets.

He should have had a plan B to make good use of the players he has available.

October 4, 201510 yr "There are other people in the club that should also assume their responsibilities and to stick together. This is what I want." Who knows what Jose meant by that, but Carlo wouldn't change anything and was little more than a cardboard cutout towards the end. JM is going the same way. Perhaps RA should ask himself why all our managers end up the same way. I think Eva was a symptom rather than a cause
October 4, 201510 yr What is the solution. the players haven't just turned crap overnight. They appear to be on a go-slow, making a point about something perhaps. Still getting paid of course
October 4, 201510 yr That's what bugs me, they still get paid for that crap. If I did that in my job I'd be sacked. It's not even a case of simply winning games and everything's alright, teams lose it happens but we aren't showing any passion or effort whatsoever. It's a complete joke, that's my problem with it.
