I think everyone needs to take responsibility from those at the top of the club to Jose and his coaching staff to the playing squad who look like the shadow of themselves and don't give a damn.

We really need a playing squad overhaul. We didn't strengthen in the summer and now it's come back to haunt us.

 

I don't want a management change either, but this is preposterous. There is no way this team should be in this position at this stage of the season. We're not going to win the league? Fine. We're not going to make top 4? Fine...but being near the relegation zone...that's not Chelsea.

 

As for the playing squad...it didn't need an overhaul at the end of last season, when they lifted the trophy. A team doesn't turn to sh*t in a few months. It's not their footballing ability that's in question to me...it's their commitment...they just don't seem to care enough to put everything in.

Worst thing we could do now is sack Jose. Stick by him, give him the funds to fix what is wrong with the team and look ahead to the long-term future.

Everyone needs to take responsibility yet we need a squad overhaul ie current side not good enough so cast them off? So the players are to blame then?

No matter how bad it gets, I challenge anyone to remember a better time as a Chelsea fan than the times we've had under Jose Mourihno. 

He is still the best in the business, and I f**king hope to god that the board doesn't give up on him.

They'd still be about though on other threads sniffing about.

Knew we were don for when I saw that:

1. Zouma started at right back
2. Ramires don't start in the pivot
3. Azpi played at left back and Baba was benched.

4. None of Loftus Cheek, Traore, Kennedy started,

 

The nail to the coffin was pulling off Mikel, who had kept the midfield in order, and introduciing the has-been Fabregas, Bringing on Falcao was just waving the white flag.

We were above average for about 4 minutes then we just sat there and let them have fun with us, utterly utterly embarassing. No commitment, desire, and no quality which means there's literally no hope of us getting a bit of luck because we're never in the right position or even near to creating chances. Unbelievable

It would be nice to get some decisions from the ref for a change, like giving Lucas a second yellow that was clear-cut.  And why 3 minutes of extra time at the end of the first half?  2 minutes on the board.

I still don't understand why Jose used Falcao and not Remy. Remy saved him against Stoke until the penalties, why are we playing our worst players during our difficult period?
