Chelsea vs Liverpool (PL) 31/10/15 KO 12:45 GMT

Featured Replies

Disaster of a day. Dominated by a borderline average side at home, the best player in the league last season dragged off after 58 minutes, Costa will get another 3 game ban for his absolutely ridiculous actions, nightmare

With the exception of Willian and Mou. We need to completely reconfigure this team.

I'm sorry, but Mou is the man we want to lead the new team.

The players do not seem to be responding. Mou is a great manager and possesses long term vision.

The majority of our players have given up.

How does the ref blow the full time whistle after only 22 seconds following 4 or five substitutions and 2 goals but somehow finds 30 seconds to add in the first half following one goal and no substitutions. Once Jose made the changes following their second goal we lost all shape. Our defence was shocking for their second and third and looked like all confidence had gone. I don't know where we go from here. Thoroughly depressing.

Hell of an interview there Mourinho..........

It's getting silly now, i want some answers, i want our manager showing some damn fight. Tell us Chelsea fans what is wrong Jose for f**k sake.

What did he say?

We're looking like Dortmund of last season.

Most of our players don't deserve to wear the shirt today.

Where's the passion and desire to win?

Have winning the PL last season made them complacent and unmotivated as now?

I can take losing if we give a good account of ourselves but what a hopeless performance that was. At least there were positives to take against West Ham and Stoke. I'm very disappointed with the majority of our players today, considering how important this match was for the Manager and the supporters you'd think they'd at least show a bit of heart.

I'm not sure what the answer is. Sacking the Manager might give the team a kick up the arse temporarily and be the catalyst for us to finally turn things around, but it would be a short-term boost that would likely harm us in the long term, and I got fed up of that kind of short-termism years ago.

BT's tabloid level coverage is really rubbing salt-covered sh*t into the wound.

Grow up. There are bigger issues here.

Clattenburg is a f**king disgrace, f**king corrupt piece of sh*t, yellow for Mikel for a meaningless touch, a moment later Lucas stops a counter attack in the same way and gets nothing. We get nothing and I doubt it's a coincidence.

90% aren't even performing at half quality, Hazard needs to show he has the mental strength to go with his ability because that's the sign of a top player.

Show Mourinho full support and give him everything to fix this mess, starting financially in January.

Oddest feeling. Any of the last few years a home defeat to Liverpool would have sent me into a rage but today I just feel not even slightly surprised and just tired.

I don't think there is any sense or benefit to sacking Jose now or at any point this season, but I just can't accept that he is blameless in this. Yes the players are inexplicably poor game in game out and they don't look to care a great deal most of the time. And yes, the refereeing hasn't gone our way, quite to the contrary.

But despite that, JM is the manager and he's ultimately responsible for this predicament. I just cannot understand many of his decisions and actions of recent. How did he come to the conclusion that Falcao was a better option that Remy as a sub today? And there are loads of other head scratching sections being made. None alone are the reason we're in a mess but collectively they must surely be a factor?

In a fantasy world I'd have Roman say to Jose, the job is yours. This is year zero. We build a new team and the one caveat is that we try to build a team that is solid but has an emphasis on flair and attacking.

Losing isn't fun in the least but if we're not going to win, let's at least lose while being entertaining.

I just fcking give up. I have nothing to say. Spineless team and I don't know whats wrong. Wish the season would just end

We had a good future with Hazard, Oscar, Mata, Shurrle, KDB, Willian, Lukaku, Bertrand etc, but he managed to chase half of them away and replaced them with the likes of Cuadrado, Salah, Pedro, Baba, Fabregas etc. Whats next? remove Hazard, Oscar and replace them with more players that can only run and not pass the ball ?

Salah? Cuadrado?

You are slating Hazard who was the best player in the league last season and Fabregas who was like second in all of Europe for his assists.

Indianablues85. No probs mate, I also owe you an apology, that wasn't my intent. Its alright to be angry after a defeat, every true fan would

Thanks Les Blues, going to be a long wait after this game.

Far be it from me to jump to the defence of Clattenburg, who has well and truly screwed us over on more than one occasion, but attempting to blame Clattenburg for today's performance, today's result, is clutching at straws.

Look back at the first half, we started brightly, took a well deserved early lead. We could easily have gone 2-0 up in a short space of time. So what does Mourinho do? He instructs the players to sit back, and invite Liverpool on to us. From that moment on it was  almost inevitable that they would equalise.

Liverpool are no world beaters, no Barcelona or Bayern - so why the need to sit back for thirty five minutes or more of the first half? There are no guarantees in football, but if we'd carried on as we began the game, I'd have fancies our chances of getting an actual win far more than by by sitting back and letting them come on to us.

For that, Mourinho is entirely to blame.

Its a fact why we conceded the goal. So you f...ing grow up!!

I will tell you. The reason we conceded a goal was because no ne closed Coutinho down. That's the main reason and that's the bigger issue.
