We can't have it both ways. Jose isn't under huge a lot pressure this season, don't expect him to play the young players anyone soon.

He said he was going to start playing them last international break...that didn't happen bar one game. Jose is going to play the team that he thinks gives him the best opportunity to win.

Jose is not known as manager to develop young players, don't expect RLC & Kenedy to get anything more than a cameo start here and there.

I thought for the first time in a while we actually played well today. Our defence weren't a complete and utter shambles as they have been for the past few weeks. But going forward i feel that we aren't having enough clear cut chances. Bar the Remy chance (which should have been a penalty!   ) we didn't create enough i think. we did have pedro and hazard having a few decent chances but i wouldn't say either of them should have scored the chances they had. 

I keep saying that remy should be starting, he is a completely different player to costa and we need someone who is going to run in behind the defence. costa drifts wide far to often and then having willian, pedro and hazard in the box we have absolutely no ariel threat. costa is good but he is no drogba who can just win header after header. Teams just stay compact at the back against us, let us go wide and we have no way of scoring from out there. 

Unlucky tonight and should have at least drawn but I think we need to change it up a bit going forward, dare i say play 2 upfront from the off? costa and remy in my eyes would be nightmare to defend against for 90 mins. Just make the opposite think a bit harder about how we are going to play. we are too predictable.

We didn't get the result that performance deserved but the signs were there, still some players performing poorly and silly mistakes being made that need to be sorted!

Jose said hes playing the kids when the season is lost, its not quite yet. We cant do anything in the league but we also have the CL to worry about.

Im ready for the kids to play as well but just throwing them in at the same time for the sake of it isnt doing anyone any good

It'll be entertaining to watch Falcor from the Neverending Story trying to take their seat in the dugout. Let us just go mental.

A couple of the kids should already be integrated into this team ... let's face it, we have nothing to lose ... alternatively, keep playing the likes of Rambo and Mikel in front of potential much better prospects....

Norwich like to play through the middle, no really pacey wingers but Brady is very clever and has a good delivery from wide. They'll play like Stoke just did for this one. They're also very dangerous from set pieces

We need someone to widen the field. Let Kenedy have the right and Baba the left. The biggest dilemma for me: is it more valuable to have Willian or Cesc? We should have a good amount of possession in this one, hopefully Cesc can pick someone out. Costa needs all the momentum he can get so I put him ahead of Traore. Matic can sit this one out, they'll cede the ball to us and hit on the counter so Mikel can play his DM/forward CB role when Baba is caught forward.

Probably our best players for that system.

Would like to see RLC as part of a midfield 3 or in the centre of the 3 AM's, I think he can be one of those 'x factor' players going by his sensational goal today and can't be worse than the others. It's not natural for a 6'4 (roughly) to dribble like that.

I would start with Remy. Many here criticize him but for my feeling in the last matches he made much more trouble to the defense with much less playtime as like costa. Would have Costa even made this run like Remy where he was too "honest", i don´t think so. He goes into the gaps and that is what we need. Costa was really terrible in the Kiev match and also not really good at Stoke. He was never really in the dangerous area, just standing outside the box like a midfield player.

I'm interested to see what new and exciting way we come up with to lose this one.

A crucial game, let's see if we can build from Stoke and get a win here.
