Maybe Georginio Wijnaldum could be a good addition for us. He plays good attacking football, also has good work rate. The only problem is price, as I see this Newcastle will ask for 25m+.

I see it the other way around. He doesnt cover, it doesnt seem like he covers, a lot of the pitch but his skill on the ball if fantastic. Enough to beat Curtois from 60 yards anyway

Hard to see us doing other than small tweaks to the squad. There isn't that many players available. Berahino would be excellent but he comes expensive.

I think there will be 2-3 outs and maybe 1-2 ins maximum.

Griezmann is not a realistic target. Atletico will not let him go midseason unless they fail to make it out of the group stage of the Champions League (which is still a possibility).

He is a liabilty though, gets away with a lot as he is at a lower profile club, at Chels he would just be Costa Mk 2 in terms of bans,.

20million you must be having a laugh. A guy who's got 24 goals in 16 appearances this season. The same player who last season scored 3 more than Muller and 1 less than both Robben and Lewandowski. I think that speaks volumes about his credentials we'd be lucky to get him for 35m.

He can play on the right wing as well so we could keep Costa up front. Could even give us a stronger position for taking Reus as well.

Why are you concerned? This squad is good enough to meet the least objective ie top four, champs league qualification. We shouldn't really be concerned if we don't reinforce in Jan.

I don't feel our squad is good enough or shows signs of playing well enough and consistently. Costa particularly concerns me and our options in attack are pretty limited.
