People are really on here saying not great but job done...the desire was standout for all to see, Costa made the right runs, massive contribution from him even though he's not in the best of form, Oscar was superb and some of his passing and his instinct to find Hazard was a joy to watch, Matic was Matic...where has he been?

Disaster time again, and I think this time Jose will be shown the door.

 

The PL campaign is in ruins, we're out of the League Cup, and I think it'll now be the 3rd competition we leave.

 

Ironically enough, I actually think us losing on Wednesday will be best. A Europa League win is the only way Chelsea have to reach the CL next season.

What a game - Very exciting and most importantly we won and scored from open play. Here are my takeaways:

 

1. Fabergas slows the game and should not be starting anytime soon. Without him today we looked so pacy, it was fun.

2. Our defense is not what it once was and we need to admit that a more clinical scorer might have made us pay.

3. Our offense with pace looks more creative in the past 2/3 games. It is a pity we are not able to finish our chances. A clinical striker is much needed IMO.

Nice to watch a Chelsea game without wanting to smash in the TV screen.

 

Decent performance. Solid at the back and threatening on the break.

 

Costa not back to his best but movement better if his touch was a little off.

 

Good to have Courtois back too.

Great effort from the lads tonight and we'll done to them.A well deserved & comfortable win in the end.

Special praise for Jose though who made the right team selection while under massive pressure.

Iam gonna write a long letter to José explaining why that useless c##t cesc should be let no where the 1st team again!!! We looked more like our own selves tonight fantastic performance compered to the sh#t weve been seeing recently onwards and upwards KTBFFH!!!

I know Cesc has been crap for a long time now and deserves to be left out of the side...but I'm not going to just forget the huge role he played in us winning two trophies last season...bloody hell, everyone was still dedicating a chant to him a few months ago
