i don't blame Jose but it does feel like this decision has really set this team alight. It's time to win and win big.

It makes me feel sad BUT hopefully a win is a win. Shocking if the players suddenly turn up today after the season they've had.

Them crosses from Ivanovic are cleared by the first man all season. Jose leaves and the ball ricocheted to Pedro who finishes well. Jose will certainly feel down on his luck looking at that.

As mentioned previously, Chelsea before anyone. No man is bigger than the club and it's time to move on. Forever thankful to The Special One but we need to get up this table, not sit about and cry about our former manager. Our luck may be changing going by the start to this game we have had.

Or maybe, just maybe, the tactics are different.

It's effectively the exact same team we've played most of the season in the same positions. I think you're over estimating the amount of tactical changes you can make in a 2 day period since Jose was sacked

Doesn't matter if it's the same team, the way they approach the game can still be different. I'm not over estimating anything, it's pretty obvious to see. We are playing more attacking, overlapping fullbacks and players are making more runs into the box.

I'll add I'm happy we're winning obviously, but this still doesn't sit 100% right with me, i do admit feeling pretty emotionless to this squad bar JT & Azpi but never towards Chelsea.

To people saying we could be playing better because of a change of tactics, could you explain to me what tactic Jose was using that made us unable to string together passes because for what I can see today our passing has been excellent.

Whilst Sunderland are sh*t, it does help that we've come out and actually attacked, something we've not done enough of this season.

No doubt Sunderland are awful and I would have backed us to beat them even with Jose but it wouldn't have been as comfortable as it has been so far.

Chelsea FC before every single player, manager, board member, owner, tea lady etc, current and/or ex. Absolutely elated we're winning, no mixed emotions.

 

I feel the same. Mourinho had the power to bring in alot of new players in 2 1/2 years and he did. Whatever bad enviorment that has been created, he shares as much blame as the players.
