July 8, 20179 yr Guardian report that he was initially angry at the board but now he is angry at lukaku and raiola. Makes sense, £100m for lukaku + whatever crazy agent fee there is, is ridiculous and conte will know this. I say this as a fan who typically doesn't care about how much a player costs. Belotti or Morata would be just as good a buy and cheaper.
July 8, 20179 yr if you asked me a couple days ago i would of told you i was just eager af to sign any striker, didnt care who, and whilst im not lukaku's biggest fan, if we signed him then i would trust conte to make it work. ive gotten into arguments on here with pro lukaku fans about his ability. and to be quite honest, i feel like they are way too attached to a guy that not only isn't that good but they feel an affinity with him just because he's a chelsea fan. so naturally these types blow their loads and the thought of a chelsea fan living the dream and playing for chelsea. thats another story - but my point in the end is i think we've dodged a bullet here especially if we go on to sign someone like morata instead. but im also wiling to admit that if we sign someone like llorente or decide to keep remy and costa in the squad for this season and buy no one else then that would be a catastrophic fail on the clubs behalf and that we would of been better with lukaku. but thats if something like that is to happen....which going but whats happened so far is a possibility i guess lol
July 8, 20179 yr If people think conte is happy with us having just signed Caballero so far with pre-season starting Monday, then I'd suggest you have short memories...its shades of 2015 when Mourinho got pissed off and we all know how that started a negative spiral into his departure, of course we will get some deals done, but Conte made it clear for months that he wanted a stronger squad for next season during the title run-in, even said it was weakest out of top six...I think reports a few weeks ago were bollox cos summer was just under way, but think it's more serious now with tour to Far East just over a week away. And if club have been caught napping over Lukaku then he's clearly going to be annoyed...although if he did send that text to Costa, he has to take some responsibility for the transfer shenanigans so far

If anyone is to blame here its the Marina-Emenalo nexus. Additionally I dont think Morata will be any cheaper. Madrid were already asking £79m of United. Now they will want more considering we are in desperate situation. Belloti has an £88m release clause and a long contract. No reason for Torino to sell him right now for anything less.

I agree that was an incredibly dumb move...still can be justified at being annoyed that only Caballero deal has been completed in last six weeks though. Im highly suspicious of all the chelsea news over Lukaku late bid and Conte angry at Raiola/Lukaku...stinks of a chelsea pr face saving exercise to me, to deflect blame from the board's, particularly marina's, door
July 8, 20179 yr Conte annoyed we missed out on Lukaku and we're stalling on the Sandro deal. Rightly so. Apparently, he has returned form his holiday this weekend. Should storm into Marina's condo bare chested with the blood of a grizzly bear all over his head and chest and scare her into f**king getting her head right in the market. Bonus point if he does it to Emenalo too.

As I was saying to another poster in another thread, I first knew about him when he broke the Martial to United story and people thought he was talking out his arse. Suddenly it was happening and every other outlet was playing catch up. And he hasn't put a foot wrong since. Luiz to Chelsea story before anyone last summer as well. I can go on and on. But you're free to disregard.

Makes you look like a mug. Most of the most unreliable ones on twitter still have their most embarrassing tweets from years ago up. There's no point deleting them. Especially when you have thousands of followers.

July 8, 20179 yr he's repeating the same crap other journalists reported early this morning. the "reliable" journalists have been shocking this transfer window for being "in the know" even the guys close to chelsea in dan levene and matt law contradict each other. we won't ever know what has happened because the board aren't going to say anything and neither is conte, so we have to rely on spiel reported by any and every journo. even if conte and the board aren't seeing eye to eye, it doesn't mean conte will leave. if conte was to leave he will have to do it soon because he has a new assistant coach, and his family are moving to london for next season. I'd trust Tancredi over him. And I think Tancredi is a f**king joke. Boufasi hasn't said Conte will leave. Simply that Conte is annoyed we lost out on Lukaku, which is consistent with what Belgian reporters like Kristoff Terreur reported about Conte having been in contact with Lukaku for the past 2 weeks sharing plans about how he intends to use him in our formation. Losing out on a player you've discussed that much with who looked dead cert to join the team will definitely be annoying. Not sure what's unbelievable about that.

I just said what the guardian reported however Broadsheets and the BBC don't print lies. if you only ever believe what they say then you won't be far from the truth. Conte would have a right to be angry if lukaku told him Chelsea was his number one choice and angry at the agent for likely telling us he would need £10-12m or he wouldn't recommend the transfer. I'd be angry if I was Conte if that was the case - and it sounds like it was.

Other sources at Chelsea say they are disappointed at missing out on Lukaku, but it is early days in the window. Historically, they usually buy players towards the end of the window, and last season they signed Marcos Alonso and David Luiz late on.Chelsea are pressing ahead with deals for Antonio Rudiger, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Alex Sandro. LOL. We have been doing this since the end of the last season itself. Hell, this looks and feels so much like arsenal's transfer windows during their stadium building days.
