Having got back from game, I put sky's analysis on...Thought for once sky did a good job if nailing the players and showing how little effort they gave, starting with Willian ambling back after giving the ball away in minute one...wonder if Souness woke up though and realised how embarrassing it was for him to pick Ivan in his pl team of the season last week...he was totally anonymous as a captain and a defender today...as bad as he's played all season, but you could add many players to that list yesterday

I thought RLC was best when Traore and Kenedy came on. But I agree, youngsters in other countries are so much better at that age for first teams.

That's the worst performance I have ever seen from RLC. It came to a certain stage that I anytime he is been giving the ball, my mind tells me he will certainly give the ball away. He should have been substituted in the first half but I think Guss doesn't want to see the wrath of the fans so he kept him their for the whole 90minutes.

Gus must be putting more time into plannng his summer holidays than picking players for positions ,

RLC playing at number 10 lmfho  the biggest criticism of RLC  A PLAYER LEARNING HIS TRADE  is that he only works one way forward

on top of that GH put fabregas in a forward mid positon as in not holding  so fabregas can play those clever passes to Costa who obviously decided that he must not upset anyone and gave the defence 3/4 of the game off

Mikel who has no pace again not criticismm he just dosent fact

Pedro only goes forward on the left and he will be joined by Baba who only knows how to run the wing forward and cross

Willan love him to bits had a poor day understandably with brazil trip and lack of help on the pitch

This shows how easy it would be for any team with pace in midfield to attack are rear guard who also lack pace

 

ON a plus not are youths are doing great  from under 21s down and this shows there is a structure at the club that is proven as are youths are beating the best not only in the english league but through out europe ,So perhaps are youth policy should be installed on the first team for a change as it is always said that the youths should play the same way as the first team so as to help wth transiton into the first team

Perhaps the reason  are young players are not shinning when given there very limited chance is they are given the example of how to not run or chase by are more senior players  and this is visable when three  young players are introduced the tempo rasies on the pitch

 

I have real faith in our youth we must give them there chance now Gus let them show Conte what awaits him if he is our future

Thank god this abomination of a season is finally coming to an end, never have I wanted a Premier League season to finish so badly and it has been a long time since we've seen the fans leave for the exits so hastily, as they did yesterday. If city were walking this league or Arsenal had managed to stay consistent and were first I think I'd be bordering on suicidal but thankfully the underdogs are making it slightly bearable

One wonders what we might have been if we had followed through with our interest in Aguero instead of Torres and De Bruyne had been given a fair crack of the whip here.

Who gave Christensen a 2 year loan deal to Monchengladbach - he would walk straight into the team at the moment. Oscar - a better player than Mata! Why did we buy Pedro - he looks completely lost - £22m wasted. De Bruyne has come back to haunt us. Pato and Falcao better than Lukaku - don't make me laugh. Courtois better than Cech! Who is answerable to these decisions?

I got mixed feelings about the game. On one side is never acceptable to lose to any team at home via 3 games. The solid defence is a long gone history without JT/Zouma at the back and a solid DM. Even the likes of Azpi started to struggle in recent games, really a bad sign. In terms of attack, we just lack that last pass or last shot on goal. It's been the same old story this season. On the other side, just like the game at their home ground earlier this season, we definitely had chances to get something out of the game. I'm not denying 3:0 is a trashing, but on both occasions the flood gate opened after we failed to convert our chances. The only shining light of the sorry game is RLC, who ever we will recruit next season, let's hope Conte give him games.

 

We aren't going to get into Europa now, finishing 10th or 14th doesn't bother me much. However I do like to see more fights from our players.

It's weird how short sighted the players are. I get that they're locked into the mid table so it's hard to get motivated. You see it all the time with teams, including their managers, who are locked into the mid table.

Yet this isn't a normal mid table end of season situation where there's nothing to play for. There's plenty to play for. The ones that will stay need to make a good impression on their next coach. The ones that are going need to make a good impression on clubs they want to play for. The ones that are playing in summer tournaments need to make a good impression on their national team coaches.

The only one that has nothing to play for its Guus because he's retiring from management completely. You can already see he's thinking about the beach.

For the rest of them, I hope they'll learn their lesson this summer or next season.

Alot of that was down to yours truly Jose Mourinho. The fans wanted him back after Rafa and the board listened. The board also gave him complete control in building his own squad and that was their biggest mistake as he sold the cream and kept the crap.
