I can think of a few better things to spend £90 on

Can't see many paying £90 quid unless they play football regularly.

Who the hell would pay £90 for those ones ? anything that tight must be incredibly uncomfortable.

It's actually been changed for a few seasons now, players always wore 1 or 2 sizes bigger than their actual size so it becomes a regular non tight fit, if you look at Arsenal's current kit, that's what it was supposed to look like if you wore the correct size, like freaking spandex.

The current one is Adizero rather than techfit, it's basically shaped for athletes rather than a one shape fits all like the replica.

When you see our players wear the replicas they never look like the right size, same for me too, S is too small, M is too baggy, although it varies season from season.

Bring back the Jade Green away kit from the late 80's :-D

I have a jade green shirt, found one in a size small to my amazement, not cheap at all.

I think it's okay,but will now get 2015/16 shirt it's £15 .

It's a shame that our shirt sponsors have such an awful name .....with a cr*p logo !

I can't wait till their shirt deal ends.........imo...Chelsea fc should be a bit more choosy next time..........I didn't mind Samsung, as everybody has heard of them, but who the Fcuk has heard of a Japanese tyre company FFS !

I would rather the club receive a few million less and go for a classier sponsor name and better logo !

THe Tech Fit is the "authentic" ones like the players wear.  It's $90 and the club made a statement that they know there is a small demographic that has demanded official jerseys.

 

You can still get the replica one for $55

 

Also, the Red is fine.  We've had flashes of red previously (hell, we even had a red top one season), but I don't mind it as it's a hat tip to the Chelsea Pensioners. 

Well £90 might put off anyone over 12 wearing it to a match, which can't be a bad thing, replica shirts being worn to games is never a good look on grown men in my opinion.

I still think that my favourite 'adidas' Chelsea away top was the white one circa 2007.

The deal was for 'an initial five years', so presumably either the club or the company has the option of an extension. Hopefully the former.

 

We're stuck with them until at least the end of 2019/20.

Maybe it will change. Remember we had Samsung mobile to begin with then it changed. When their brand becomes a household name maybe they will drop the tyres.

This current sponsorship deal is worth over double the one with Samsung.

Probably worth thinking about rather than just the cosmetic side of it.

Not sure about the lion logos all around the front....

Don't mind a little red on there but Just looks so out of place on the sponsor also the lions all over the shirt make it look pyjama like, whatever happened to the simple but classy designs like we used to have?

With 3 new kits every year think they just find it hard to get new designs

I think it shows how little people care about new kits now-a-days with the amount of interest in this thread. I think a new one every year rather than 2-3 years has exhausted people's enthusiam.

Plus the cost and our form hasn't helped :/

Don't see anything wrong with grown men wearing replica shirts to games.It actually creates more of an intimidating togetherness atmosphere and a cosmetic beauty with a sea of blue inside the ground.

does anyone know of any good websites to buy snide shirts ?  I used a website in the past and paid around £15 pound for a fake shirt and it was of the same quality as the £50 shirt from the club shop - probably came from the same factory (cant remember the name of the website I got it from)
