Alvaro Morata

Wouldn't be terribly surprised if his pregnant wife miss Spain and her friends there and that has affected Morata negativly as well.

Wonder if its a similar situation to Sturridge. Remember Klopp talking about pain and real pain. Sometimes the manager expects a player to play through minor issues, especially in a time of need like now.

Oh the sacrifices we make to earn £200k a week... My heart bleeds.

Yeah, i agree with you. Just saying, he does strike me as the type to think along the lines of "you know what, screw football for a while, i'll take care of my pregnant wife instead"

Not that it would be acceptable at all really.

Whats notable is the absence of the words 'injured/injury'

It's a situation.

It's one of those where it sounds like the player is complaining of pain but there is no real evidence of an injury.

Some players play through it, others opt for some time on the treatment table.

JT used to get pain killing injections for a problem he had in his back.

Obviously not all injuries are the same but I'll just say I'm a bit skeptical about his fitness.

Strikes me as quite a fragile character. With his poor recent form, a slight injury and now these personal issues, I suspect he just doesn't feel like playing. Which is all well and good and I feel sorry for his personal issues, but he's getting paid obscene amounts of money to do his job.

I think whoever said it earlier was right, I think he'll disappear back to Spain or Italy in the summer, to a club with less pressure.

I have had back problems in the past, not fun, and hard to correct in some circumstances.

But lets be honest, back problems or depression are the two easiest cop outs used by the skivers at work. Seems Alvaro could be using both.

To be fair, the person that said to have served in a war, was a total numpty, trying to backtrack after he was ridiculed for a very sexist remark and then played the "I fought a war" card.

Oh, I know that @Valerie, the original bloke was equally as much a tosser as the one claiming a front-line soldier is the equivalent of him sitting in an office using a calculator.  Still, pricks will be pricks, won't they?  I still think @RIP Mourinho is a wind-up merchant who just posts outrageously stupid posts to get a rise out of people.

Sad little boy, but that's your internet generation for you.

Now to wait for DKW to like your post. Quite adorable really.

Sad old men, but that's the generation that has ruined everything for future generations for you.

As the recent recipient and long time suffer of a back problems I can confirm that they’re a complete bastard, every one is different and they can take an age to get rid of!

I can also confirm that I went home 2 & 1/2 hours early yesterday but was back today and stuck in half an hour overtime to level me out a bit. I’ll be back to lugging 20kg here, there and everywhere when it’s gone too.

I worked in place that showed me first hand the physical and mental effects of war on people for four years. None of those guys there would ever dream of playing the ex-military card as an excuse for being a knob.

In fact after an argument with one guy once over something stupid we both concluded that I was a jumped up cockney w**ker and he was just a miserable scouse prick :laugh2:

Didn't the older generation, that ruined everything for future generations, invent the calculator !

Well if we're going into technicalities, the first 'calculators' were invented way back in the 1600's

You disrespect and try to ridicule older generations that have invented products that enable you to earn a living.

The older generation tried to disrespect the younger generation first in this thread i think you'll find. Give respect to receive it and all that. I would earn a living whether i had these products or not :)

Agree, however the lack of respect you show to other people is more than evident on these threads, with the most disrespectful comment, being your own personal dismissal of the military. Being shot at, is not comparable with getting finger ache on your calculator. You definitely showed a 'lack of life experience' there, and should be more respectful, also grateful to those who protect their countries, past and present.
