Jose Mourinho thread

So I can't comment on a mourinho quote that every paper and pundit talks about? He knows he will get attention and all this reeling in talk makes it acceptable?????

Please get your head out of his a$$. I'm not trolling. I'm criticising the constant bitter remarks he makes. To you he can do no wrong backed up by the pathetic excuse of classic Mourinho diverting attention blah blah blah.

Being classy in his comments about us will not change the way the season pans out so there is no need to act the way he does.

Anyone who dares criticise their God is called a troll. Take no notice of them.

Also funnily enough even Conte has admitted that Mourinho is playing mind games and he won't be drawn to it, but according to some on here Mourinho was actually praising us.

To be honest, i don't know what some people are getting so annoyed about. I have barely taken notice of anything Mourinho has been saying this season. There is no point, his team are 6th, ours is 1st. All i care about is what our own manager is saying.

Mourinho can praise or criticise our team, i really couldn't give a damn.

As for past working and relationship, yes most of us would have. And most of us also know exactly Jose's philosophy of football, and how much he relies on a solid back line and defence. Hence him saying we are a great defensively, should hardly be a reason to call him c**t or be "scouseque delusional".

I'm not sure you got my analogy about past relationships.

If you are implying that Jose's philosophy is defensive and therefore his words were praise (if anything), then that is exactly what I would call delusional. No offence.

If you ask Jose what his 'philosophy' is, I will guarantee that he will not say it is defensive. He will say that it is expansive possession based attacking football where his team creates all the chances in a game.

Score a goal, defend and counter? Jose just said what he has been doing since day one of his managerial career. I guess the 4-0 defeat is still in his head and i can see him doing everything to avoid a defeat at Old Trafford.

His comments are a cry for help (mixed with a bit of envy with how well we are doing compared to him).

He joined United and in his mind he was going to change his ways and play the "United way" (and probably verbally promised the heiracy as much). But he's struggling to get consistent results doing so and he's sending a hidden message to the United board of " its working for them, its worked for me, please let me do it my way ".

I agree with you but the funny thing is someone liked your post and they are on here daily calling Mourinho all sorts. So they like your post about not giving a damn but they clearly do ;).

When he started taking digs at us some of the Deluded ones here were saying that his digs are not directed to Chelsea.

Now when the prick finaly came out as he couldn't take it anymore, the same ones are saying that he's actually praising us.

It's beyond believable.

Agreed. Its like when he played free and expressive football with us in Diego's first season it was all good until the defeat to Spuds and then straight back to defensive tactics. I give it til the end of the year and Mourinho will have Utd playing his usual defensive tactics. No doubt it'll win them a league title at some point but he sure as hell won't be successful playing the 'Utd way'.

Yes, in the past, but will he use it to describe his play now? We are talking in today's context you know... The statement wasn't made a decade ago or even 2 years back. What does he see himself as now?

Just because he currently is playing an attacking style of play does not mean he cant appreciate something which he has literally done all his life.

Oh dear resorting to calling a Chelsea fan you don't know a plastic p***k and c**t, because he's not licking the behind of a manager who you could argue loves his new club more than his old one and is throwing constant bitter digs every month?

You've just shown yourself up as a self righteous <insert word here>

Perhaps you're right yb & it's the only solution in respect to this troll given the failure of others to act. Must be some twenty pages or so ago in this thread I commented that it was sad that we'd come to the point on this site that it was deemed acceptable for a poster to call an ex-manager a c**t let alone an ex-manager who was instrumental in delivering 3 of our 5 titles. After I said that, and no action was taken, it emboldened this troll who thereafter kept calling Mourinho a c**t & still does. What I don't get is this: the site rules stipulate that if you're out of line, disrespectful to & use these sort of words against other posters you're binned. Why is this not the same for this troll? Does Mourinho himself, who has done more for our club than anyone on here have to be a member of this site in order for this to occur? Why do we have to continually put up with these continual slanders questioning our allegiance to this club (as the troll does above)?

Did you hear yourself? now that you're crying out loud to the mod to help you getting rid of anti jose posts?  One can only imagine if you're the mod, I think you won't hesitate to abuse your authority to bent the rule for anyone who dares to badmouth your little darling.. so much for your allegiance to the club eh?

LOL. Calling a CHELSEA LEGEND a prick and c**t is fine? Irrespective of what ever you "perceive" that he is saying, Jose has won us 60% of our League Titles, And no amount of digs can take that away, get it?

You dont have to "lick his behind" (as you so eloquently put it), but you can RESPECT what he has done for the club instead of calling him a c**t and a prick.

No, that is twisting his words. He doesn't want all anti jose posts gone, he wants the childish, frankly embarrassing posts (imo) dedicated to calling him the c word.

It's incredible that ivanovs latest post here is allowed to stand in this thread, it added nothing but drags the level of conversation down to a childish level that we would make fun of rawk for.

Btw I'll respect Mourinho when he shows respect back to our club, which so far he hasnt. Dont care what youve achieved at this club if you slag it off youll get it back twice.
