Has one player had more of an effect on two teams' fortunes in one season?...Leicester are a shambles without Kante, cfc, so far, look a much better team with Kante

It just shows how important it is to have someone like Kante in your side. It was the same when Real Madrid sold Makelele to us. Real Madrid fell well behind many European sides when they sold Makelele.

Going to be a long season for the Foxes me thinks.

I think they will struggle in the Champions League. I know Leicester like to get the ball up to Vardy as quick as possible, but in these opening games that is all they seem to be doing. They are just knocking it long and hoping for the best. They can't just knock it long every time, they need to at least pass it around a bit.

Leicester will have a poor season. Last year was a fluke all the big teams didn't show up. Plus they have more games this season. I think they will be lucky to finish top 10.

Liverpool don't be fooled by today. Title challengers ? Yeah right far too inconsistent and they can't defend at all.

Now we get to see Jose the way our opponents saw him.

But last season was lightning in a bottle. With or without Kante, Leicester were always going to drop off this season.

I know it's early days still but after watching Pogba, I'm glad we never got him. He offered nothing but a few fancy touches on the half way line.

Hes obviously a quality player, his technique is great but for £90m you want a real big match game changer.

Sadly for them Leicester will be even worse than us last year as defending champions.

not overly worried about Liverpool, they still look poor at the back.

Christ Pogba is average for the worlds most expensive player isn't he?

It was funny watching the cafe get giddy after a couple of narrow wins vs relegation fodder and a bit of posturing from the 'big boys'.

I dont particularly like City, but after the way  they treated me on  the cafe and after reading some of the arrogance I was quietly pleased to see them shown up for the average team they truly are.

Just so long as wee can last City in this race, both of our teams can leave United in the dust.

Extraordinary lapse, you don't often see that at this level of football.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why Lucas shouldn't be playing centre half.

We have seen it before. Quite often. From a certain curly-haired Brazilian who may well be playing centre half for us next Friday.

Really? Quite often?

Winning trophies ;)

Exploding @ medical staff.

@everyone yesterday

First goal was Stones' fault - there's a breakdown in communication, but in the replays you can clearly see Bravo calling for the ball.

Had a good chuckle at how sh*t Man Utd were though, City were a different class. My mate made a tenner though my advice :) KdB clearly MOTM though, he was top notch.

Leicester were awful, Kanté is a hell of a player

Should have gone to spec savers.

Could say the same about Chelsea. I wouldn't be saying anything till Chelsea have played City who are the best team in the league.

City had the first half but then Utd should of had a pen and city red card which would of changed the game dramatically.

Your response is abit over the top.

Also City wouldn't have scored their first without Bravo - tenuous I know, but it's basically evens that Joe Hart would have punted that upfield instead of giving it to Kolarov.

Still wins trophies

What trophy did he/we win for that outburst? the team never once played to their ability once that season.
