Some wonderful advice there from the great man Wenger himself.  its not like we haven't won the premier league 4 times while playing in Europe before. Apparently we're Leicester. :laugh2:

Its amazing how many excuses he comes up with year after year. I suppose next season since all the top 6 clubs will be playing in Europe, Burnley will win the league. Or even Leicester will win another title

People who parrot this "it's because they had no Europe" nonsense act like we didn't win it in 14/15 while being in Europe. Or 09/10. Or 05/06. Or 04/05. Absolutely silly excuse for their own clubs being sh*t.

Wenger for one is one of the most deluded managers I've ever seen. And it's funny because he's only fighting for a spot in Europe now because he changed to Conte's 3-4-3 over the past few games and has stuck with it, the old c**t. What will their excuses be next season if we retain the title?:Laie_37:

Pep: 'I would have been sacked if I was managing Barcelona or Bayern'

http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/39926264

"In my situation at a big club, I'm sacked. I'm out," said the Catalan.

"If it is Barcelona and Bayern you don't win and you are out. Here I have a second chance and I will try to do it better next season."

Got a feeling he's trying hard to get the boot lol realisation has set in that the epl is not some tin pot league

Pep responded to Wenger's comments about teams in the middle of the table "being on holiday" and saying how it affects Arsenal's position,, by saying "do it better during in the season and you will not have this problem."

Well said, Pep. Over here in Australia, we have the same kind of people in the AFL. In the last couple of games of the season, a coach of a team which has secured its spot in the finals (playoffs) and can't move higher or lower may choose to play the kids in a meaningless game. Therefore, there's a good chance it could lose to a club still fighting for a higher position. This, inevitably, affects league standings for the finals and every year this attracts moaning from fans of clubs who may drop down a place in the table. Every year, I have the same thought as Pep. Win more of your games and it won't be a problem. Managers like Wenger just cannot face facts and think "maybe it's our fault".

And that same West Ham team who he said weren't focused against Liverpool, beat Spurs the week before in the same circumstances ie nothing to play for. (Well,  except beating Spurs!)

Sometimes these things happen.

And btw autocorrect if I type well, I mean well, not we'll. I'll type that if I want it.

^ meh Tuesday night 5:30 against sunderland , can't really blame them

You can when they have top 4 to play for.

sh*te club, sh*te fans

Arsenal fans are an embarrassment...I get the fact they're pissed off with Wenger but to not turn up for a game that you need to win to keep top four hopes alive, is pathetic...especially as you know they will all be there at Wembley...owners won't let this lame show of defiance affect them...if Wenger stays, they know they will all be back come august

I know it's inevitable Arsenal will get the goal but this game really does show why Arsenal are in the position they're in.

Sunderland offering nothing, Arsenal being wasteful going for the spectacular goal rather than the simple one.
