Mehdi Benatia is having a medical at Juventus as well.

This could be their defensive strength in depth next season:

Chiellini

Barzagli

Bonucci

Benatia

Rugani

-

Evra

Alex Sandro

-

Lichtsteiner

Dani Alves

Jesus Christ!

I admit, signing Jesus is a divine move...

Bournemouth sign Jordan Ibe for £15m.

Fifteen million pounds.

For Jordan Ibe.

FIFTEEN MILLION?!

1 league goal and 2 assists in 27 appearances last season (1197 minutes played (equivelant to just over 13 full 90 minutes)).

I see Boro have reverted to type - their transfers this summer remind me of that period when they signed the likes of Mendieta, Zenden, Parlour, Hasselbaink, Reiziger, Viduka (etc.) when they were all in their mid-30s.

All this money from the premier league was supposed to help even the playing field, and to some extent it has, the weaker teams have got stronger, just look at Leicester and West Ham, but it's totally skewed transfer fees out of all proportion, when they were pretty ridiculous as it was before!

Experience....bla bla bla... presence in the dressing room.... bla bla bla ... great role model for the younger players .... bla bla bla...

And Alan boksic who I loved to watch.

A lot of teams in England used to buy aging star players, but I think it has been on a downward trend due to how much money players can earn in mls, India, and now China.

What's going on at Leicester? Mahrez wants out despite them offering a major pay raise. Mind you, this could be a bluff to get an even bigger raise to equal Vardy's new contract. It does seem odd that they offered Vardy 25% more than Mahrez. I'd say Mahrez is actually the more important player for them.

To be honest, there is nothing in that article that says he wants to leave. Does he have a buy out clause ? If he doesn't then there is no reason for Leicester to sell seeing as he still has 3 years left on his contract. He should definitely be earning as much as Vardy though.

His brother in law is David Ospina who plays for Arsenal, so I can't see him playing for us. I guess West Ham has all that extra money from getting their stadium paid for by taxpayers.

Real spent a fortune on Rodriguez after the World Cup, as they're apt to do for any new hot toy. I can't see any Premier League club paying what they'll ask.

My prediction is PSG for him.

That would have zero effect on whether he signs for us or not.

Jose taking about the United fans:

"What I found was unbelievable for the first time in my career. The support for a friendly like this was like it was a crucial Premier League match. Unbelievable,’ he said.

What a brown noser.

This is the first time in his career that he has felt so supported by the fans?! He must have a very poor memory.

Wait until they turn on you Jose. It's coming, and there probably won't be any banners supporting you.
