To be fair to him, it's a massive career achievement for him to have officiated two huge finals in such a short space of time.

On top of that he did he great job in both the finals too.

If Pierluigi Collina had done it he'd have been showered with praise.

I would never have a tattoo of any description - I hate the whole tattoo culture, but as FC says, fair play to him.

Like all refs, he has the odd shocker (or two) but he is regarded as our best and the big games he's been given is quite some achievement.

He wouldn't from me. It's cringey as anything.

An old guy cutting about the beach in Majorca with a CL and Euors tattoo lol.

Imagine JT got one for every major trophy he won?! Be like that leopard man who lived on an island.

Tattoos, hair transplants, Botox injections, I bet he is stood in front of the mirror for hours every day kissing himself.

It was a genuine WTF moment when I heard Martinez was appointed manager of the Belgian national team.

I hope for Belgium's sake, they don't waste this golden opportunity with a great set of players but I think they will regret this decision.

Bayern Munich president Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, told German publication Bild what he thought of Jose and Man Utd: "One or two players are going to think long and hard in future about whether they want to go to such a club."

Awful tattoos, good life achievement but they look so tacky

Football culture has even spread to the referees it seems. Clattenburg also drives a Porsche. I wonder if Sepp Blatter is secretly covered in tattoos.

I predict Clattenburg will get the next World Cup final. He actually does well I'm international games.

By the way, I saw an interview with Clattenburg. Was surprised to hear that he's a Geordie. I would have predicted a more posh accent.

Durham.

Durham.

It appears you're right, he's originally from Durham. Has been living in Newcastle for a while I think or otherwise has strong ties to the area. He's not allowed to ref Newcastle games.

I was still surprised by his accent. Was expecting something posh.

Belgium get rid of Wilmots and then bring in Martinez........they have the best squad of players they have ever had, why can't they find a manager that will get the best out of them ? It's like England's so called golden generation all over again, they will likely win nothing now that they have Martinez in charge for what will probably be the next 4 years.

Very odd. If they were going foreign, surely there are better options.

Martinez strikes me as the type that would do really well in job interviews.

I wonder what this means for Mirallas. Had a major falling out with Martinez, probably deservedly so.

Ha what on earth is that?!

That is an absolute disgrace and says an awful lot about the way the game is going in this country. It's apparently currently called the 'London Stadium ' but will be renamed when they can wh*re themselves out to new sponsors, to be announced anytime soon.

It's worth mentioning the stadium was largely funded by London taxpayers to host the 2012 Olympics, and the pikeys have been handed it on a plate at knockdown rent.
