Following Our Nearest & Dearest Rivals, 2016/2017

Featured Replies

What were we expecting? When the t.v. companies constantly give Spurs the early morning Saturday kick off at home, They are always going to win, Away teams have a dreadful record in the early morning Saturday kick offs.

Another gutless performance against Spurs by a team already on the beach.

Just want to get to tomorrow now, f**k that sh*t.

Maybe I'm been paranoid but I distinctly remember us gaming to play after our title chasing rivals a lot in our title runs. I remember 06-07 United seemed to play before us pretty much every weekend, 07-08 same again and I also remember when they made us okay Mon and Thurs for ZTV while United got Sat-Sat and we dropped two massive pts against Wigan. There's more but I don't wanna seem like some conspiracy theorist lol

We have to be honest, Tottenham looks seriously f**king good. This is league winning form from them at the moment.

United game is an absolute must win, if Tottenham get within 4 points of us after this weekend then they will sense blood in the water.

Kane scores.....I'm turning this crap off.  Never seen so many teams roll over in front of Spurs.  Their back 4 have not been under any pressure for the last several weeks, yet opposition defences part like the red sea...f**king awful.

It feels like some teams are more scared of Spurs than they are of other teams.

There next league match is away to palace which will be a much tougher match Sam will be looking to do the same similar to what he did against us and arsenal

Tottenham havery a tough run in. Tricky away games at palace, Leicester and hull. All of which have something to play for, and they also play united and arsenal at home, and they have a terrible record in the big games especially against those 2.

Even if the worse happens tomorrow, I don't think spurs will get more points than us in the last 6 matches, we have west brom and everton away which could prove tricky, and then 3 home bankers against saints, Watford,  and Sunderland.

Spurs look good, but so do we, and we have for most of the season.

I think tommorow if we pick up 3 points we will be very much there. And if we want to be champions we have to beat what is put in front of us.

On the other hand though, lose it or even draw it, and Spurs look unstoppable at the moment. 3 or 4 goals every game and hardly ever concede.

Most team have good runs where they look unbeatable though. Spurs looked pretty unbeatable before they played Liverpool earlier in the season then come match day they looked pretty ordinary.

I still maintain that if/when they get within touching distance of us, they will wobble.

Right now they are relaxed and have nothing to lose as nobody expects them to win the league.

That team is completely devoid of any 'winning' experience, when the chips are down, it ultimately comes down to bottle.

We'll see.....
